Man I really need to read the news more often. >.>

Anyways, I agree with everyone else about your decision to demote yourself. That I think you shouldn't do it, but it is your decision.

and love the User representatives idea.(but the purple blinded me)

Err. Ok. Well. I would have to say that:

A) Anti-MoD is Anti-MoD and not necessarily Anti-ModeratorLevel-MoD, so the demotion may not get the reduction in pressure you are looking for. People with blind vendettas are... well... blind, and may not feel that you have received the "justice you deserve" just by being demoted, and may hound you still. Do not decide to step down based on this. On the other hand...

B) I can understand the stress of wielding the banhammer. It is not for everyone, and there is no shame in needing to put it down. Beyond anything else, you need to do what you feel is right. If you cannot do the job of being an authority figure and feel good about it, then you should step down. Remember, if the game isn't fun, then just don't play it. Feelings are infectious. If you are miserable, all you accomplish is making other people miserable. Choose to be happy.

C) Love the new suggested "User Representative" level. Sounds like a good higher-level mod grooming process. Awesome suggestion. Good luck to the new appointees.

Otherwise, I'll back ya up buddy. Whatever you decide.

How is one able to get to the User Representatives rank? I doubt that a number of posts should give you the ability to look at places you couldn't see before.

OK, It's time I answered all the questions.

I came up with User Representatives as a way to get more intelligent people in Forum 23. Ones that would have an amazing impact on our decisions. I made it the way I would want it, all the while not considering it at first.

Then I took a look at the job I had, and it seemed to go into a dead end for me. People hated that I had it specifically, the stress of power was getting to me to the point my mom was telling me I should consider going back to a normal user. Looking at this, coupled with the fact that I hate being a disciplinary figure and banning people to the point that some feared me, I decided that I should move into the User Rep job.

And one more note, there will most likely be a fourth User Rep. I forgot about him and I felt stupid for doing so, so he has a position.

Yes, Linkdroid's Anti-MoD group and the fact that for some reason I can't get my opinion across, not to mention the pressure on me is f*cking with my real life and I hate banning people, I am resigning.

So, I guess this is goodbye.

You know what this is? This is BS. By doing this, you're giving Linkdroid and Co. the victory. By doing this, they've driven you out of the mod position. You really want to give them that triumph? Then go ahead. If it's really putting that much pressure on you, then I understand.

But I think you're better than that.

You know what you should do?

Keep on being a mod.

Keep on being you.

And stick it up the mothereffing Anti-MOD group's you know what.

Because you can win this battle. I have faith in you.

So yeah. I would urge you to reconsider.

That said, User Representative idea gets a thumbs up from me. Also, YB's second point is excellent.

Okay, MIC!

Hey Anti Mod Group!

..I.. :o_O: ..I..
