Mario I overheard some goomba's talking about some big treasure, and that it's EXTREMELY VALUABLE, they say it was a precious thief's treasure, and whoever obtained it would be rich beyond your wildest dreams! Anyway, the last thing I heard was that it starts in a dungeon, NOT TOO FAR AWAY FROM HERE!" the toad cried. "But I was too s-sc-scared to look for it myself, for it's VERY VERY VERY dangerous!!! I didn't know if you wanted to know this but, I couldn't hold it in any longer, thanks Mario you’re a good listener see ya around!" The Toad left Mario alone to say the ONLY thing he could in this adventurous case..."LET'S -A- GO!"

After almost drowning and being eaten by cheep cheeps, Mario finds himself next to the shine sprite he just grabbed, and realizes there are feathers all over it. He takes the feather and is thrown out of the dungeon. Mario gets up and looks around confused, and before him he sees a small hut hiding a door, he wonders where he is but decides the best answer is to go through it.
