oh and of course plenty of farms and agriculture, but no gold mines (remember that the gold in cali was panned out of rivers, there aren't quite as many [or maybe not even any] mines here as you'd think)

Don't forget the drought. That's been a key feature for the last 4 or 5 years.

I say we rebel and make a 'Murica only version. 50 states x 3 acts each means a 150 god damn level series.

(I think one set in one of the Norse countries would be sick, personally)

Oh yeah, duh :P

though to be fair even with the drought Cali's still had some good seasons, especially a few years ago with wines

YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES TY

REDEMPTION TIME HERE WE GO

CALI REPRESENT ADSFASDFASDF

I think I'll go for agriculture/grass/farmlands. How does that sound? On the other hand, as much rural areas as they are Cali's also got some pretty famous cities (but we all know how that went when I tried the first time). Since we already have Neon City and Ville Lumiere, do you think I should just stuck to rural? Or maybe include suburban areas here and there?

I swear I haven't forgotten about this. I've just been sick, packing, moving, dealing with family matters, and the like all in one. After I'm done with my duel with Supershroom I'll work posthaste on the level.
Expect something cool here soon!

It simply died from Star king vanishing. Probably noone dared to start any other level in the queue because they are still his belongings if he ever comes back.

Hanging Citadel was nuked from what I've heard (Yuri still wants to do it tho) and about Ville Lumiere I don't know, that was probably blocked from MP3 being too busy with other things, similar as Rocky Canyons Act 2.

Rating standards: show
1 star: (0 - 5.75 in LDC) These levels need a lot of work. They're totally un-elaborated, and/or inherently flawed due to things like cutoff or enemy spam, or they're untested and there are too many bugs gameplay-wise, in short: Many many things went wrong in such a level.

2 stars: (6 - 9.75) These levels are not terrible, but poor. They're too short, lack scenery or they have errors and/or bugs but it's still barely enjoyable. Again, spend more effort and try to do better. (if it's your first level that I rate two stars, it's not bad. There's a long way you can still go)

3 stars: (10 - 12.75) These levels are about mediocre. They may be still a little bit short, the gameplay is fine but not very original and graphics are also solid, but not breath-taking. Try to keep improving!

4 stars: (13 - 15) These levels are nice, but not the best. Effort has been put into them, there can some professionality be seen in gameplay and graphics, they're a nice experience to play, but there are still things you can do to make it even better. Try to go the extra mile!

5 stars: (15.25 - 20) These are really great levels, those which, as said, I would give more than 15 in an LDC. These suffice many high requirements, and it already goes into subtleties if you want to make them better. These levels are successful all around. Bravo.

These are just general principles I try to follow when rating. Sometimes I don't leave a further comment when rating, most times I do, if you have questions about it, feel free to ask further.

I feel like I could make one of these, but I feel like it wouldn't be as quality compared to others.
Other people have been here for years, and learning the designer, but I've been here for what, a year?
And my best level isn't even comparable to some of the amazing levels here.
I want to do Magma Oasis so bad
Might be ready in a bit.
