I thought that was based off of Windmill Island. I guess my assumptions are pretty off today.

Edited first post:
  • Added MegaR's WIND GREENS section (no levels yet)
  • Changed the "City" theme from Dragon Valley and Arctic Ruins to "Village" because it's definitely not big enough to be a city
Really, if anyone else wants to contribute to this, like MegaR, they are welcome to do so. You are basically free to do anything as long as it can be located on Earth (or not? Space Station level, anyone?).

I wish I could. But you and Mega have similar sonic-esque styles, which would really work well in this series, however I just design out of the box. My style wouldn't really fit, I don't think.
Besides, in this series, I'd rather just play the levels and be surprised by myself. :3

How about a ruined or burned city. Like the one in Sonic '06. :P

I didn't have a Sonic style to start with, you know. I'm pretty sure anyone good can make a Sonic level because it isn't that hard, and I'm pretty sure your style would look great in a Sonic-like level :3 Of course you might need an average knowledge of Sonic games, and if I remember correctly from SMA, well, you don't play that much video games, I think :3 Not forcing you, just saying that the 3rd best LDer out there can make a Sonic-esque level :3

As for the two suggestions: ruined/burning city might be a good idea (for a final level?). A Desert level is planned, but I don't have a name or particular location yet.

I can always attempt making one. True, my knowledge of video games isn't that great, there are online sonic games I can test out anyways.
It may be a while before I could actually make one because well, I'm also making a little series on the side too and also entering LDCs and stuff. But if the time comes and I'm okay to do it then I'll give it a go. Should be fun. :3

I actually think it depends on the style of the LDer. Amp could make a Sonic-esque level even without the style, but it would be more difficult than MegaR or SK. :3

Come to think of it, Mario 63 really does seem like the perfect alternative to speed-running through stages and such, so I guess the sonic theme kinda fits. :P

I'm not sure what there is to contribute unfortunately, unless if you want me to work on a specific theme.

Alright, time to revive this!

This is probably one of the best things I have done for this website, so let's not stop there. I came up with some new levels which I should announce as soon as I'm done with Candy Coaster... I will work on it during the week, and I plan to be done next week-end at best, or in 2 weeks. But Candy Coaster Act 1 is pretty (or at least it should be) short so expect it soon!

Unfortunately, I also bring bad news, as Mega will not be able to continue Wind Greens, because he lacks time. I still have the code, so I can finish it, but I doubt it will happen anytime soon. You know what could be cool? If someone else continued it, admitting you got time :3
