I'll give some theme suggestions, in case more people want to make levels:


  • Autumn. I think an autumn level would fit pretty well in this series, plus they are pretty badass.
  • Forest. Can't believe no one suggested this one before. Some village in said forest would also fit well.
  • Mountain. Another one I can't believe it wasn't suggested before. A little bit of vertical gameplay in this level would fit very well.
  • Space station. Now this would be cool, I mean, not only the fact I love space levels, but... You must admit it. An factory-like level would fit this.
  • Desert. By looking at the map, we can say a desert level is planned. But it's just to remember that this spot is free.
  • Volcano. This may sound way too generic and not fitting with the series, but there's Vesuvius in Italy, that would fit pretty well.
  • Tropical Island. May sound a bit hard, but it's pretty much a beach in the beggining, and a jungle in most of the level.

EDIT: BTW, I'm not working in Hanging Citadel now, because I'm working for my LDC entry. But after the LDC, I'll do it.

There isn't really any tropical island background besides mountains with sea, but even then... eh. Beaches are hard to make with SM63.

But all of these are planned. It was kind of obvious I would make things like Desert or Tropical Island levels (just look at the map).

But of course, that doesn't stop you from working on any of these themes, except maybe Space Station because it's a bit specific.

Maybe I should announce all the next levels now so you guys can see what I have in mind. I pretty much said it all already now anyway, so I might as well give names. Sounds good?

Here we go again!


Major changes include EVERYTHING. Seriously. The two levels are very different. The only main common point is the theme, but other than that, graphics were highly improved, the level made easier, the gameplay more linear and SMC-like. I'm very proud of it, so go play it, and please, don't forget to leave a rating and maybe a review if you are kind ^_^

I'll have a break from SMC. I feel like giving LL a try again, as I've came up with a cool level idea that I can only make in LL. But don't worry, SMC will be back soon with Flooded Past Act 1, which is going to be very cool.
