~Yuri's levels
Welcome to my level collection! Here, you can find my finished and unfinished levels, and of course, leave comments about them!

My entry for the 2nd 25quared LDC. It pictures a whole mystical and dead world, covered with only two colors: Black and White. Your goal is to bring back life to this place, getting the five shine fragments.
Got 11th place in the LDC. However, it was with a score higher than 15, so it was not that much of a horrible position.
Shallow water ruins
For a duel against NanTheDark. Won the duel, and placed 10th in WITBLO13!
It's a level that takes place inside a ruined underground water temple, with many challenges, and a Shine Sprite for those who complete all of them.
I made use of some tools that almost no one uses, like the Koopa Shells, so this level took a lot of time to plan. But overall, I think it paid off.
Shell Puzzle
A quick level I made for a collaborative series of super short levels. It's a building with a temple like structure, where you have to lead a shell to the goal.
This was more of a showcase of a concept than a level, if anything. It's a clever idea that can work really well if polished properly, but it didn't quite make the cut this time.
A Fallen Tribe
A level made in collaboration with Harmless and Magnen, for Runouw Survivor. It's a level set in the Runouw Survivor universe, more specifically in the Shadowsquid tribe. Here, the tribe is abandoned, and Mario has to search for a Shine Sprite in the deserted isle.
It's a pretty neat level in my opinion. The best thing I did here was surely the graphical work, which is in my opinion, one of the best I did so far.
Exploring The Unknown
Made for the 3rd 25quared LDC. Won, and will be in the WITBLO14!
This level takes place in a wild, unknown planet, covered with vegetation, and having paths between caves and land. In this tricky puzzle-like environment, Mario has to search for 3 Silver Stars to activate the Shine Sprite.
I like this level. Not only it was fun to design, but it also was quite fun to play in my opinion. Really glad it won 1st place.

My entry for the 27th LDC. Won, and is in 2nd place in the WITBLOAT 2014!
Mario falls into an unknown planet, in the middle of another adventure between galaxies to save Princess Peach from the grasp of Bowser. He coincidentally fals right in the isolated village there is in the planet, and then goes ask the villagers about any way to get out.
This is probably the level series I had most work to do. Firstly, because of the short time I had. Secondly, because I had to do two versions of literally EVERYTHING in the level. A copy/paste button would be really appreciated in times like that ¬_¬. Anyway, it was only really painful to do the prologue, pretty much because of the amount of detail there was in the village. The temple was rather fun to create, and I think I pulled some quite creative challenges, such as the fish one.
My level for the duel against Supersroom. Won, and is going to be in WITBLO14!
It's a level that takes place in a fortress, filled with flames shooters, flame seas, and many other fire related flame gimmicks!
I'd say this is a cool level. It's fast paced, it has a nice amount of difficulty, and a good amount of innovation too. One of my personal favorites.
Sandworm Domain
For yet another duel against Nan. Won, got the second (UPDATE: Now third) highest score of all time (18.33!), and is in WITBLO15!
It's set on a desert full of ruined structures inhabited by worms. Will you be able to reach the end and claim the treasure that awaits you?
I am really proud of this one since it was actually a bit of a pain to make. The block enemies actually took a lot of work to make, and the last part was especially hard because I had to do the prefect timing for everything. But I think the work paid off well. ^-^

For the 29th LDC. Aimed for getting 3rd place with this one and managed to accomplish my goal, plus, it's also in WITBLO15 ^-^
This is a cosmic environment, different from everything you might see. From puffy plants to water spores, this is a calm, yet difficult level.
I found this one rather fun to make. I got a lot of inspiration from some things that have been happening to me in real life, and I already had a lot of concepts in mind. Somehow, I managed to mix them all together in this level, and making it was a nice experience overall.
Uncharted Grounds
This level is set on a wild, unknown world, most specifically here, on a bog. Following the same formula of Exploring the Unknown, this is a puzzle where you must find the 3 silver stars, or try to get the challenge red coin.
In this one I actually challenged to make a 25 x 25 level better, and that felt longer than Exploring The Unknown while using less time to make it as well. Unfortunately I failed, and this level didn't really get a good score because of myself overdoing the graphics.
Freezeflame Towers
A level I started making in 2013 for the 25th LDC, having it on my backlog ever since, and only finishing it now. Hope it earns a spot in the WITBLO16.
This level is set between two towers; ice and the fire, with all kinds of different challenges each. Actually really challenging.
This level took so long to make purely because of me pushing it aside. I started it on 2013, doing 75% of the ice tower, then in 2014 it was pretty much untouched, when I only finished the ice tower and started progress on the fire one. In 2015 I almost finished the fire tower, leaving only about 10% left, and then, finally, I finished it now, in 2016.

A level made for the 5th 25quared LDC. Ended up in 5th place (How convenient!)
It's a short 25 x 25 level, with a lot of stuff going on. There's even a secret challenge for those willing to pay attention.
I actually have been wanting to do this multi-chromatic concept for a while, but only got around to do it in this LDC because the time was just so convenient (the size wasn't though). I actually think this might be my best 25quared level, maybe only behind Exploring the Unknown.
Dear diary,
A level made for the 31st LDC. Won 1st place with a score of 18.5, making it the highest scoring level of all time.
It's 2:32 AM. You can't sleep. Why is it that time is what it is? A puzzle based level not focused on platforming, and shouldn't prove to be too challenging.
This level was the result of me stepping out of the safe zone, and doing something that no one had done before. At least not that I knew. It was a risk to take, but I did it, and well, it REALLY paid off. If anything, I see this level as proof that you don't have to follow the formula to make something awesome. It is for me, the proof that Super Mario 63 can be art if you want it to be.
The Egoist's Tale
This level was made for the 2016/2017 Winter LDC. It got first place along with FluorescenceLight's level.
Winter is ending, and you don't like spring. No way. Perhaps there's something you could do to stop it from taking over... A fairly short level, actually quite similar to other water based levels I made. I sure love those, huh?
I rushed a lot to make this. Not because the deadline was short, but because I procrastinated it until the very end. Keeping it within the size limit was also hard, but it went well overall. I think this may be my best graphical achievement aside from Cosmic Gardens, because everything in this level fit so well together. I'm somewhat proud of the little story too.
Celebration on Skyroad
A level that was supposed to be a birthday gift to -BY way back in 2013. Only now I finished it. Gods, and I thought I procastinated too much with Freezeflame Towers.
A Metroidvania-y level with a festive atmosphere, where you need to collect all the 20 red coins. It has an accessible difficulty level, and I dare to say this is the most fun-to-play level I made.
This is one of the few levels that I made that I truly find extremely fun to play. It holds a special place for me, because it once was supposed to be a gift for -BY's birthday. I definitely didn't finish it on time, and finally having it out of my backlog feels accomplishing.
