IMPORTANT! How to properly post levels

Create a personalized collection of all of your stray levels! You're urged to post series/miniseries in a separate topic in Level Series, but you can always interlink the two.

IMPORTANT! How to properly post levels

Postby Demonik » August 4th, 2009, 1:57 am

To avoid cloggyness (I think I just made that word up?), Suyo and I have composed an effective way for posting levels that all users will be required to follow. This is very important, and if you refuse to follow this rule, you'll most likely find yourself with a warning, and your topic removed.

Basically, instead of how we've been going on the old forum, with people creating one topic per level, we've decided that each person will create one topic Titled: Username's Levels. Obviously, Instead of writing Username, you'll write your name. In this one topic, you'll place all of your designed levels, except any course series ones you've made. Under or above each level code, you should write the title of the level (obviously), a short description and the difficulty. Posting one level per topic will No longer be allowed, and if people choose to ignore this, as I said earlier, they will be punished accordingly.

Here's an example of what I mean, in case you don't quite understand: http://www.runouw.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=25&t=31

As for the levels that have already been posted in seperate topics, the creator will be required to copy the code(s) and paste them into their newly created single level topic.

SuyoEDIT: Also, don't forget the code tags.
If you have your levelcode, put it in code tags like this:
Code: Select all
LEVELCODE HERE
Yeah, but it'd be easier if the members do it themselves. When all the previous members re-join, this place will be packed. Again.

I think that this is a very easy a good way to post levels, but what about newer levels that are posted on old topics? After there are several pages of user levels, nobody will know when a user has a new level.

Be honest, how many times did you ever change pages to see a level? I usually look at the first on the list.
