The Cycle Reboot: Unhinged

Postby MICrophone » October 7th, 2012, 4:01 pm

Hi y'all,

At some point I think I sent somebody Chapter 1 of a reboot to my old story (which I'm too lazy to go excavate from the mass burial grounds of the long forgotten stories so I can post a link). It was probably MOY. Since then, I have very slowly been making further progress. I have three rewritten chapters, all far longer than the chapters of the original. This reboot is being written completely from scratch, drawing on elements of the original story while introducing new characters, featuring better dialogue and character development, including some changes in plot elements, bearing a new name (The Cycle --> Unhinged), and more.

I am not looking to post the story here on the forums as I'm largely not visiting them anymore. If, however, fans of the original want to read the reboot, please send me a PM expressing your interest and I will send you chapters in PMs as they come. (Warning: They may come very slowly over long stretches of time, if ever, because we all know how we sometimes just stop writing our stories.) I decided I owe it to the small handful of people who read the original to give them the chance to follow-up on it if they so desire.

I will delete this topic in a few days (cause I'm not sure it's technically allowed since there is no actual story content posted), so please PM me soon if you have any interest.

Thanks,
MIC

(Also, shouldn't I be able to lock my own post? I don't really see why people need to be commenting on it since they should just PM me anyway…a mod can lock it I guess or not.)
