Here's some of mine!
Apparently I think all my work is amazing and therefore I have like, 20 quotes in here from recent work... read if you wish! Hope you do!: show
Voice Of The Mute wrote:Mr Game and Watch had a typewriter in his lonely room.
The typewriter was his voice.
Every day he would type into it, for he had no voice of his own. The only voice he had was a beep. A beep that could interpret nothing. A beep that shattered all manner of communication.
Many people had often felt that they were shut off from the world, being completely unable to communicate what they really wanted to say. But it wasn't an inability, it was a fear. Fear of the unknown. Fear of what others would think.
Game and Watch desperately wanted to tell the world what he thought- what life was like, his ambitions, his fears, his emotions, or even how his day went.
But he couldn't. He was literally alone in the midst of thousands of people.
Strings wrote:I heard a harp outside of the window of my 4th story apartment. I don't know where it comes from-outside in the town square, on the rooftops, maybe even in my own delusions and imagination.
I doubt that last one. I wish my imagination could come up with such beauty.
The melodic sound captivates me. I'm drawn in, ever since the very first time I heard it playing from its mysterious perch. It's usually always the same 30 minute song, almost an orchestrated piece for one harp. And it never ceases to amaze me. I assume this person is trying to practice this routine for something, because they get better every time. Every day, for the past 2 weeks, at precisely 8:00pm, I turn my TV off, my DVR on, and I sit on the patio and overlook the city, the harp's beautiful and unique strings bending and stretching so smoothly and freely you'd think that the only thing playing them is the wind, gently brushing the strings along.
Every night I overlook the city with a human soul poured through a harp as my soundtrack.

Words and Action v2.0 (At A Loss) wrote:"A lot can change in five years, dude," he responded simply.
"Yeah, for you. So much that if I talked about it it'd sound like bad exposition."
Rob laughed at that and put a hand to his mouth. "Oh, that Robin guy? You mean one of the top cadets in the whole Portland Police Squad?" he shouted, in a style similar to an announcer. "The guy engaged to the hottest woman in all the land? The guy who scored two tickets to the Ducks/Beavers game next week? Oh, what a guy! I'd love to be him!"
In a high falsetto, he added "I'd love to do him!"
Back in his normal voice, he added "Sorry, dashing young lady, but my heart belongs to another!"
Farrow was laughing with his forehead in his hand. "My god, you're unspeakably lame, you know that?"
Sparks wrote:Zelda couldn't help but squeeze his hand when he said that. "I have little doubt that Naryu has influenced you in some form."
"Naryu?" Mario asked.
"Our Goddess of Wisdom."
Mario chuckled solemnly upon his explanation. "Really? I don't know if Miss, erm, Naryu has paid much attention to little old me."
"You never know," she replied distantly. "Don't discount it."
"I wouldn't dare pass up an opportunity like that," he affirmed.
Beautiful Imperfection wrote:Soon, you will realize that perfection will turn into nothingness, like immortality. You will crave adventure, excitement, to learn, to be challenged, but you will not be able to because you can simply complete the challenges with the blink of an eye. And then you will become empty. A porcelain statue, smooth and beautiful on the outside, but inside, nothing but air, invisible molecules bouncing around in an empty porcelain cell. Nothing going nowhere.
Also Beautiful Imperfection wrote:We won't become perfect.
We'll be better than that.
We'll be together.
Gimme A Break, Beautiful Imperfection is my best work wrote:The best part of you
what composes your beauty
is imperfection.
Paradigms-Spoiler alerts to Advance Wars DS wrote:It was then it dawned on Ana. "So you don't like people picking flowers because of all the hard work you did putting them back into to Omega Land after that evil guy took them all for himself."
"Perceptive girl," he nodded.
She lit up with excitement. "You're… so… cool! You're like a real live hero! Just like Mario! And the coolest hero ever! Oh my gosh, I can't wait to tell everybody-"
"Don't do that." Hawke looked befuddled, eyebrows bunched. He should have seen this coming.
"Why not?"
"Because… I'm not really a hero," he admitted.
"Whataya mean?"
"Well, before I knew what Von Bolt was doing, I used to lead his armies, back when they were attacking Cosmo Land. I used to do bad things, very bad things. I left people behind, I never truly cared for people, except for myself." He sighed again, burning from the pain of bad memories. "I'm certainly not that good of a person."
Ana looked at him quizzically, not saying anything. She and Hawke held that stare for an awkward minute before she looked over at the fields and said "Well, the flowers forgive you."
Also Paradigms wrote:Hawke watched as she buried her head in her knees and heard as she started to cry, quietly shaking in her huddled ball.
Now Hawke really didn't know what to do. He could probably name a few million people better with kids than he was.
Piece of Cake wrote:"You're a hero, Peach," Mario smiled again. "A hero not through grand works and extreme feats, but through the kindness and love you give so effortlessly and freely. Without you, there wouldn't be me and the kingdom would suffer because of it."
Spreading the Joy wrote:"Oh my god, Doug, oh my god!" she's shouting over and over. "You won't believe it."
A Smart Car, a Smart freaking Car almost destroyed my state-of-the-art race car. I'd believe in Santa right about now
Dance Without You wrote:The second piece of luggage I open to find my dresses in. All so nice and frilly and colorful and ♥♥♥♥ them.
The Legend Of Zelda Shall Never Die-SPOILER ALERTS wrote:"When... I found out what she had decided, I was livid. Livid at the wrong person and for all the wrong reasons. I had shouted at her... for the first..." Link could not hold back a sob, "and only time in my life. She never seemed fazed, but she had an understanding, comforting look on her face through my whole rant... the way she did when Epona died. I noticed this, and fell into sobs. She was trying to comfort me while she lay on the deathbed.
"Through my tears... I asked her... why she did this. She told me 'so you didn't have to make that choice.' And that was when I gingerly took her into my embrace and apologized to her... I begged her forgiveness more times than I could count through my tears- for my words, for not being able to save her... I felt so helpless. She put a hand on my face and told me that neither of us needed to apologize for what happened.
Warrior of Happiness wrote:And there's Peach. Hee hee, I love Peach.
Peach is the kindest, happiest, most comforting person you can be around. She's my favorite. She's kinda like one of those parent thingies. She's always there to cheer me up should I ever need it, make me cake- she's really good at it- and she's fun to be around. I kinda love her, y'know? Not like the love where someone's so pretty you wanna kiss her, but someone who's so good to you and so nice and such a good... person, that you really feel happy around her, and happy for her, and want her to be happy. ~Kirby
Colors wrote:"I mean, some people get high off drugs, I get high off of life. It's exhilarating."...
...She took another sip of her drink, identical to hers, and sighed. "Whoo, this drink thing must be getting to my head. Dear me, I hope I didn't order an alcoholic beverage. Although that'd be a humorous twist in events, wouldn't it?"
Young Blood wrote:"You've got a killer throw!" he grins. "You wanna play with us? You'd be great!"
That's when the rock first comes in contact with the glass wall. Immediately I start debating the idea at rapid fire. I'm not too far off of their age group despite my height, but I know how tight-knit they are. And I would feel so out of place there, the small, shy mountain climber with the strong, attractive young warriors and royalty.
But I realize that I want to be more than just part of the scenery. I want to be chasing after the unruly Pokemon and teasing a friend over his romantic goofs. I want to sit on the patio and talk with friends about the goings-on of the mansion. I want to sit on the corroded bench with someone I love, waiting to make a move and dismiss our fears
Words and Action redone wrote:"I've always found that words and action go great together," Prim mused.
"Agreed."
Both Words and Action drafts wrote:"Son of a ♥♥♥♥♥." Farrow growled. Before he could say more, he was thrown to the ground, his feet pulled from underneath him. He sat there, stunned, as he saw Prim fall to the ground herself, also surprised, but not before she could pull off the scarf from his face.
Actually, her face.
"Son of a ♥♥♥♥♥'s cousin." Farrow was a bit surprised but figured in the long run it didn't matter, as he went to get his gun and leap up. He stopped in his tracks as the Scarved Woman pulled out a knife and held it to his throat before he could even realize what had happened.
"Twice removed."
Viva La Vida-SPOILER ALERTS wrote:We are going to make it. We are going to escape.
Death and all his friends would never catch us.
My mother had said once that I should strive to 'viva la vida'. She was in the garden, picking tomatoes and surrounded my a small swarm of bees she was sparring against, yet she was laughing while I was screaming for her safety. I didn't know what it meant at first, but I'd come to find that it meant "Live the Life." She wanted me to find the best moments in everything, to strive to make life enjoyable.
And back then, I dismissed it as a sweet little trinket from mother to daughter. But when she died, I simultaneously noticed how she had the disposition of one that enjoyed life even at its worst, and shrunk into such a shell of myself that I never did what she had asked. Ike was a man who understood her disposition, and who went out of his way to make sure I enjoyed my life.
I will not lose that again. Today, I Viva La Vida.
London, England wrote:Snake made some mentions of the world he came from, and it sounds impressive, but not nearly on the par of the world we live in now. But that's what I want, that is exactly what I want.
He mentioned London, and immediately it entertained me. A monarch city with a river that runs through it, a castle, a giant ferris wheel. Museums of all sorts. A giant clocktower. It sounds like a brilliant composition by an eccentric musician. And I want to go there like a kid wants to go to a theme park. ~Mario
The World is Quiet Here wrote:Every room of the mansion displays taunting memories, every wall displays empty familiarity. Every mirror displays my suffering.
Yeah, I know there's 20 here. I'm also gonna try looking for yours. But feel free to post 'em!
