Well, I'm a little bit againts this. I mean, it's art. What you think it's crap may not be crap for others, in fact, I wouldn't be very surprised if someone gave a high mark to a story and another one gave a really low mark. But of course this is just for fun, so who cares?

Lol! 25% of the mark is grammar! 25% is....others? Mmmm...ok, I can't think something that goes with other here, only creativity.

I would enter, but I'm not very good at writing biographies or a story that revolves around one person or whatever. However, I'm one of the few grammar nazis on the site, so I would get full point in that (probably). Maybe next time, or maybe I'll take it. Also, because I'm bored, theme suggestions for next one:
  • Some sort of "Island of Secrets" or something
  • "The Detective" or some sort of thing where someone dies and it's a mystery and ♥♥♥♥ (preferably a forum story)
  • Journal/Diary
  • Song Reworking, much like the popular LDC theme suggestion
  • Fanfic type thing
That's all I have for now. I will claim a person later. Maybe.

Hey MoD, just a question about the rules - since I'm choosing Bog it's really quite obvious what my story is going to be about - but am I allowed to mention other members as there were a lot of other members involved and Bog is just my main character? That's what I was hoping to do. I was also hoping to base this around the forums and it was just going to be a sort of local story, instead of it being set in a parallel universe or on another planet or whatever. So in other words based on real life. Is that allowed? If so, that would be a massive help because I'm pretty sure this and being imaginative are my strongest points in writing.. :)

MP3 EDIT: And I know this sounds like a really stupid question but honestly I've never used the Story Portal before ... to enter a story onto the portal, do you just post it here in the stories forum and that's it?

At both points:

1. It's just claiming a character, meaning no-one else uses it. Wait, it doesn't sound very clever in THAT context.

2. Story Portal, click 'Go to your Story Panel', and click 'Create new Story'. Use BBCode to format, same as here.
