I am seriously considering getting The Runouw.Com Connection to a publisher (not sure who) after fine-tuning it. DO I need Runouw's Permission? And is this a good idea?

Lol, not quite. Your work is not truly mediocre, nor is it anywhere near the standards that a published work would need. First thing before you do anything, you're going to need to tweak ALOT of things. Nobody is going to know what Runouw.com is. You'd have to put a big amount of background knowledge to make sure you send the message of how important Runouw.com is. Now, I have not read your alternate ending, can't say anything about that. Your censoring will no doubt just make you look more childish. I'm not saying you should make everyone cuss like a sailor, but there needn't be censoring. You could easily just make someone say dang, or just say that they "swore under their breath" or something like that. Publishable? Not quite there yet. Perhaps someday, but not today, nor tomorrow, nor next week, nor next month.

:breathes out: That was a heckuva lot better than I anticipated!
Well, as for the swearing, in most places I have those "swore under his breath." But when they are trying to call someone a name.... pbbbbth.
As for the alternate ending, it died with Ridder.
I will try to describe a day on runouw.com, that would work.

You do know why Ridder has left? Its because the site hasn't changed much in the time its been here.
And I'm agreeing with azn, you have a long way to go.

Oh hai thar. Yeah, so you've been talking about publishing TRC - the sequel too, right, or did I misunderstand? - and I think that there certainly is no reason why you shouldn't try. That said, yeah, I'd say the odds of success are pretty small. Nobody, brando included, has more than a minute chance of having any success publishing any of the stories on the forums. We are all still teenagers; only once in a blue moon will you have a teenager write a successful story *looks at Eragon*. But still, that's no reason not to try. Just be sure you include that pseudonym thing we discussed yesterday.

Well, I wouldn't go that far. I mean, there are plenty of published authors who are only teenagers, but it's just the fact that none of the works ever become a hit like Eragon did. That doesn't mean it can't though, I thought
Brisingr was one of the best books I have ever read. If you really have a passion for writing, then you should just keep trying. Remember that some of the greatest books were rejected by many,
many publishing corporations before they were accepted. I can't remember any at the moment, but I do remember hearing this.

Wow man I gotta say, you just wanna throw that story out there? I don't know, MIC's right, we're all just teenagers, (but some teenagers make books....) Maybe you should wait, make more stories and get more experience. And then edit TRC and make it perfect. I'd suggest showing this story to some people you know, like family, and go up from there, parents, cousins, aunts and uncles, friends, teachers, coaches or ANYONE like that! And Runouw.com is something that NO ONE (Other than us) knows about, there is a lot of things you need to correct. No one will know who Avo is, it's make sense that it's a username but if it's a name in real life? I'd say change my name for starters or something like that, and remember this, critics will read your book, and if they read it now, with all those mistakes, they will pan it to the ground. So give it some time MOY, if you honestly want to try to publish it, then there's nothing stopping you. Just correct those grammar/spelling/etc. mistakes
and YOU'RE GOOD TO GO!!

[*]STATUS REPORT OMG!
This is what I have done since finishing TRC
1. Have improved flow to about 100 sentences
2. Have fixed tiny plot holes
3. Have edited the *expletives* from the Sequel.
[*]WHAT TO DO NEXT
4. Make the first chapter a heckuva lot longer, describing Runouw.com as a website. (I could use help with this.)
5. Double check for grammar.
6. Send out to friends and family.
7. Get started sending out to publishers!
P.S. By the way, I think Avo is a cool name. Kinda Indian.
