Stacking moves is the key to victory in this game if you know how to use it.

Magnemite strikes first and creates an extremely painful metal sound!
Sandshrew's def is now 4!
Sandshrew lunges towards Magnemite and scratches it for 1 damage! It then scratches it again but deals 0 damage! It then scratches once more but Magnemite quickly moves out of the way!

Yes as long as you have enough PP. (Keep in mind that they won't come back even after the battle is over unless you restore them)
Sandshrew strikes first!
Sandshrew curls up and raises it's def by 1!
Magnemite tackles Sandshrew however it's def is too high!
(Blame the dice doing this, not me lol!)
Magnemite tries again but misses!

Sandshrew uses Struggle!
(Struggle means you lose hp and the opponent loses half the hp you lost.)

Magnemite causes another extreme sound and Sandshrew's def drops to 3! Magnemite then tackles Sandshrew to the floor and deals 7 damage! Sandshrew is struggling and lost 2 hp while he weakly tackles Magnemite. Magnemite lost 1 hp!

Sandshrew strikes first and uses Struggle! He runs up towards Magnemite and trips and falls on top of him. Sandshrew lost 6 hp! Magnemite lost 3 hp!

Magnemite caused the loud and painful noise again. However, Sandshrew was smart this time and covered it's ears. Magnemite tries again but still fails.

Magnemite then charges towards Sandshrew but it moves out of the way quickly. This makes it lose balance and Magnemite tackles it again dealing 5 damage!

As Sandshrew stands up, Magnemite tackles again for 6 damage! Sandshrew quickly steps back but gets tackled again for 2 damage!
