Sounds really cool! I'll join in. I can probably also help you with some things if need be.

Name: Zunar (duh, why would I use anything else? Plus it's short and easy to remember)
HP: 10, SP: 5
Skills: Punch, Tattle

Let's see, backstory. Hmm... Ah-ha, I got it.

I'm a nerdy teenager that loves anything to do with computers. I like knowing things, the more the better. I'm almost always carrying around a backpack with a laptop in it (like Izzy from Digimon, but older). Also I enjoy swimming. If it means anything, my preferred weapon is a sword or a shotgun.

Is that enough info or do you need more?

Wind Delcarlo is an elekrokinetic spellcaster-type person. He wears blue clothing, and prefers ranged combat as compared to hand-to-hand fighting. He favors electricity and air use than other types of magic, but will use anything.

Skills:
Tattle
Ki

EDIT: Oh, right, stats. 8 HP, 7 SP

Actually, the point is that by the time the Prologue's done, all the characters have met each other. Of course, whether or not you work together to do... something, is up to you. You can split into smaller groups, go off on your own... In fact, you can choose to work for the bad guys if you want (If that's not in character it might cost you in the long run, though).

So yeah, there's another difference with Paper Mario. When it's your party's turn, the players can take an action whenever they want or they could plan to do stuff in some order to get better results.

Ok, registering Zunar and Arceus (finally someone with different HP and SP... :P ). I think I'll start the Prologue next week. Hopefully I'll have at least part of the story in mind by then.

Oh! By the way, if you regret some decision you made while creating your character, you can change it before the story starts. When it starts, it's over.

Also, I might allow players to join after the game starts. Not sure.

I think so. Judging by the game being a modern-fantasy. There should be. Plus, you can try to suggest making your own skills.

I believe I'll be joining this

Name: Burt "Alien" Doe
HP: 13
SP: 2
Abilities: Tackle, Strong Guard
Description: He's built like a bodyguard, and rather slow witted. He has a beard and wears a leather jacket, and two leather gloves, which he never takes off, even when he's sleeping, and nobody knows why. Also, he seems to be unnaturally strong, despite not knowing much about magic.
Backstory: Not much is known about his past, because he refuses to tell anybody. All people know is that he used to live a normal life until one day, where he ran away from his home due to something that he refuses to talk about.

Well... yeah. The skills I'm giving you now are pretty much base skills, which will evolve as the story develops. For example, those with the Ki skill might get Fire spells and whatnot, those with the Bless skill can get spells to cure status ailments, those with the Punch skill could get combos and Shoryukens :awe: , and so on.

All these will come to you in the form of Badges. Just like in Paper Mario you can equip Badges to use different Jump Skills, you can equip Badges to use variations on your own skills.
