Forum rules
THE FORUM GAME RULES - FOLLOW OR DIE
1. Please make the Forum Games have a sense! No dumb "Post 100 times", stuff like "The Vending Machine" is also posting and posting and is way better, no?
2. No dupes. Please do not create a bunch of RPGs. If you have an idea, ask a Staff member if it is unique enough.
3. Bumping is allowed, as long you follow the rules of the forum game.

Oh don't beat yourself up. I mean you could hand the RPG over to somebody with more times on his hands and a bigger procrastination streak than you have, but then I swear I do work fine if it's somebody else's work I'm supposed to be doing, so that's probably not a good idea. Seriously though, given what we've put up with already, I have a feeling most are here for the ride even if the combat would just be "who dies in what order?" so long as it's fun. Unless of course I have no idea what I'm talking about.

I'm not saying Xero is a bad GM by any stretch, but I feel like since Nan started it he should finish it. The characters just wouldn't feel the same, y'know. Plus I wanna see Sever go blow up some more stuff from a non-GM perspective :P

It's okay if things aren't perfectly balanced now, we can totally balance them as we play along

I'm actually not suggesting he hand this over me. :P Although I would like to remind you that Slippy joining your party happened when I was GM'ing the game. Slippy leaving happened when Nan GM'ed the game.

I've thought since pretty early on that this RPG is a mess. Balanced, perhaps, but a mess. :P But hey, chaotic messes can be fun right? *insert joke about bullet hells here*

"Hey guys, I wanted to give you this."

Nan gives each one of the guests a Skill Catalog.

"This is a list of Skills that you guys can use in a game I'm working on that's called 'Towards the Dark'. Maybe you guys would like trying to fight using these? I've got some VR Gear right here. If you will, pick 4 skills to use."

[Note: This Catalog is not final. I gotta add more stuff, haven't really added Mega's things... I dunno. This is just a test.]

Zunar reads through the catalog, studying the different skills and re-reading them many times pensively.

- Strike
- Check
- Counter Stance
- Archery (or Smash)*

*[Seems like we're a bit lacking in long-ranged attacks considering only Aiden, Wind, and Mega have them (well I guess Kohaku too, but his mechanics are a bit weird), so it might be nice if we retconned my character with some bow skills. If that's not okay, then just give me Smash.]

[The Assist skill gives me an idea though, wouldn't it be cool if there were multiple character attacks like Double/Triple techs from Chrono Trigger? Also that Slots command is totally ripped right out of Final Fantasy 6 xD]

[You know it's funny, I once contemplated trying this, because you can Double Tech/Unite in BoDVII and CStW. Never got around to making any of those.]
