Daisy picks up the cookie with her mouth, throws it in the air and catches it back in her mouth to eat, bowing her head a little for flair.

"Well, there's plenty more where that came from." Marina looks at your scarf for a moment. "Is that what I think it is?" She picks up one of the cookies, loosens your scarf just a bit and drops it into your scarf. It just kind of, falls in. It doesn't come out the other side either. It seems to have disappeared into the scarf." I see that Snufunday person decided to have you show off his better merchandise. Welp, it just means I can give you some of these cookies for the road." Marina take the rest of the cookies and puts them into your Scarf. "If you want to take something out, just think of it. If you want to store something, just think about storing it when you put it into your scarf." She leaves the room for a moment and comes back with a second tray that she sets on the ground where you and the Squirtle can freely get to them. "As for why everybody might be looking for me..." She seems a tad bit nervous now. "You're not with those occupying forces, are you?"

"Those losers? Hah! They barely even see me, let alone hire me."

It took Frederick double digit seconds to think of what to say.

"Aw, shucks. We can worry about them later, hehe! What matters is we've regrouped and we have a sneaking suspicion the MDA needs something here. They want us out, but for what reason? I think... we should barge right in and take them all out!" Frederick pounds his left fist into his right hand. "Who's with me?"

"No. We are surrounded by enemies. If their boss finds us, we're not gonna make it out here in one piece. We must at least stay out of this area until they go on night guard." Arma objects. "Not to mention we're still half-clueless at this point, and our only other bet is to go into the farms for more information."

"..." It took Frederick double digit seconds to think of what to say. "Aw, shucks. We can worry about them later, hehe! For those who are paying attention to this sort of thing, the strangest thing is that the more you look at their movements, the more it actually seems the MDA are avoiding this statue. They keep looking over at it for a moment, perhaps nodding, then moving on past it. Two new people seemed to have moved to guarding the gates of the village again.

Marina calms down a bit. "Yeah, they don't seem to be the type for hiring cute animals. Then again, they did hire that Grand Rose lady..." Marina sits down in thought for a moment. "Well, I suppose keeping you under control would be a bit difficult for them, right? You don't seem to be the type for taking orders. As for me... I imagine they'd be looking for me because of a family heirloom I take care of. Actually, I was thinking about checking on it. You two want to join me? It gets a bit lonely by myself."

"No thank you," says the Squirtle. "That place gives me the creeps." He takes a cookie off the tray and starts nibbling on it.

"Yeesh, what a wimp..."
"Anyway sure, why not."

Daisy eats another cookie off the tray before standing next to Marina.

"Yeah, and these enemies are just grunts." Frederick shrugs his shoulders, giving a look of disappointment to Arma. "I kill fools like these on a daily basis! Why, even Zunar got a kill on one of them! Easy!"

"I'm not worried about the MDA soldiers. I just took on a whole team of them, and I was barely hurt." Burt says as the minor gunshot wound on his chest and the small difficulty he has with moving his arms indicates that he is quite a bit more than barely hurt. "What I'm worried about is where Hannah and Aiden went. Where did you guys last see them?"
