No, roll for my Flash Step first. My Flash Step enters as soon as battle starts, as a free action. Unless if you already rolled for it and it missed.

I quickly dive behind a tree to dodge Wind's attack. Then I pick up a nearby rock and throw it at him.

Alright let's do this...
It'll be my first time trying out Nan's battle system so let's see how it works.
Frederick flashes across the water, causing it to rise up wherever he landed.
He appears right in front of Wind and strikes with his dagger.
Wind lost 1 HP!
Wind = 12/13 HP
After that, Frederick then slashes at Aiden with his dagger.
Aiden lost 1 HP!
Aiden = 6/7 HP
After recovering a bit from Fred's attack, Wind targets Zunar at the other side of the lake and shoots a bolt of thunder. The shot traverses across the water through conduction and damages Zunar, even though he tried to dodge.
Zunar lost 1 HP!
Zunar = 14/15 HP
Wind = 6/7 SP
Aiden counters Frederick's attack with a Ki Blast! It blasts Frederick back, close to the electrified water.
Frederick lost 2 HP!
Frederick = 1/3 (PERIL!) HP!
Aiden = 6/8 SP
Zunar attempts to throw a rock across the lake and at Wind. It actually hits his face, pretty painful.
CRITICAL! Wind lost 2 HP!
Wind = 10/13 HP
Environment: The lake in the jungle has been electrified and can become a hazard. The sky is still pink and you've grabbed the attention from the monkeys...
