Nan and I were talking about ITS gameplay, and Nan still has some ideas in mind for potential gameplay changes. I want to make sure all gameplay changes are cleared up after the Knight boss before we continue, if you don't mind.

The first annual Into the Shadows Fighting Tourney!

Yes, that's right! Depending on how many entrants we get, we will either do Double-Elimination brackets or Round Robin as our tourney format! Although it's not confirmed if the winner will receive anything other than out-of-character bragging rights, it's fun to participate in these kinds of things anyway!

One thing's for sure - You won't want to miss out on this spectacular action! Which is why I have decided that I will allow people not involved in the RPG to try their hand at ITS's combat system!

If you're not familiar with how ITS's combat system works and what HP, SP, and BP do, here's a quick rundown:

- ITS is a turn-based combat system. Turn order is generally decided as player characters going first, but since this is PvP turn order will be decided randomly every round of combat.
- HP is Heart Points, the stuff that keeps you from getting KO'd. More HP means more longevity.
- SP is Star Points, the stuff that allows you to perform more powerful skills in combat. More SP means access to more powerful attacks.
- BP is Badge Points, the stuff that allows you to equip more badges. Badges is like equipment - Some offer extra defense/attack, others offer more skills to use, etc. Badges can be found here.
- The unique thing about ITS is that you can interact with other objects and do creative things with your skills both in and out of combat. Some actions are not guaranteed though, which is why we sometimes roll for certain "Improv" actions. When you improvise, you do something that is not straight up attacking your opponent or using a skill.

I figure I should try a different setup than Mega. That said, let's give THIS a shot.

Name: Raela

Background/Story: Your standard mercenary, Raela is a girl who relies solely on her ability to straight-up ruin her foe's day in order to do her job. A few well-timed insults here, a little bit of poison there, and the job's done. Although at first she was hesitant and worked in the field only because she had to, years of experience have led her to be indifferent, almost numb to the suffering of anyone else. You'd have to be around her for a while to really make her old reluctant self open up.

Physical description/clothing: Very long, white hair (about waist length) that sometimes covers her left eye, with a similarly covered scarf covering her mouth. You can really imagine her wearing whatever clothes you want, but she definitely has black gauntlets, a dark gray belt with a knife holster on her right and brown, high boots.

Max SP: 3 ( +5 = 8 due to Star Plus)
Max BP: 7

Skills:
- Cut
- Insult
- Poison
- Toxic Slash (SP Cost: 1): Deals 3 damage. When the enemy is poisoned, this attack deals 5 damage. (might be a little OP?? idk, my reasoning is that it already takes 2 SP to poison, and then a turn's wait plus the extra 1 SP to do this otherwise it does nothing but waste SP)
