[CYOA] Abstract Adventure

Postby GrandPiano » June 24th, 2014, 10:27 am

Image

A dot stands in his home, the Land of Abstraction. There is nothing as far as the eye can see, other than an abstract world of white. What will the dot do?

Hopefully this actually takes off.

The dot does not know how to "expand"; even if it did, it sees nothing that it could possibly eat.

Can the dot close it's eyes?

I mean, if there is nothing to see when its eyes are open, does anything happen when it shuts them?

(btw I love CYOA games)

How about it explores further, to find anything that might be hidden/invisible?

The dot has eyes, but they are too small for us to see at this scale. The dot closes its eyes, and the world from its perception turns pitch-black.

The dot takes a swift pace through its blank, abstract world, as indicated by the amazingly professional speed lines.

Image

After doing whatever it is dots do to get around without legs for what seemed like several hours, the dot finally decides to give up. There is certainly nothing at all in this world of nothingness, and even if there were, how could you possibly tell with your eyes closed like this?

Having your eyes closed for so long is making you sleepy. At long last, you decide to give in, and take a nap.

You find yourself in an abstract dream world.

Investigate the area, look for anything that might be worth noting.
