Welcome everybody, to Wheel of Fortune - Runouw Edition! You probably know how good you are at word puzzles, but what if the Wheel had more than just real life trivia? That's right - We'll have all sorts of topics! Video games, SM63, Last Legacy, GT and the Evil Factory, and much, much more!

All it takes is three contestants to step up to the wheel and play a game! But right now, we currently have a game underway. If you want to join, post in the thread or PM me, either way works.

Also, a small reminder to contestants not to interfere with games under way.

So how do we play?: show

If you've never played Wheel of Fortune before, don't panic! It's quite simple. Every round, there will be a blank puzzle, like if you were playing Hangman. Assuming we are playing a regular round;
- The player to go first can either spin the Runouwheel, buy a vowel, use a Wildcard (more on this later), or solve the puzzle. They can land on Cash, a Special panel, or Bankrupt/Lose a Turn.
- If the player spins and lands on cash (i.e. $300), then they may proceed with picking a consonant of their choice. If they get a letter right, they get the value they stopped on for every letter they got correct. (i.e. If Harmless guessed 'B' and got two B's on the puzzle, then he would get $600 if he landed on $300.)
- The player may spin again and continue until he guesses an incorrect letter, or lands on Bankrupt/Lose a Turn.

Buying vowels costs $250. It will act as if you guessed that letter, though, so if you guess a vowel incorrectly, you will lose your turn! Be careful!

When you feel confident enough and know what the puzzle is, simply choose to solve the puzzle! If you're correct, you win all the cash you earned throughout the round! If someone else wins the round, you do not win your earned cash!

Panels: show

Panels with cash on them are your regular panels. Land on these to guess letters on the puzzle, and earn cash.

If you land on a panel that has a Wildcard (or another card of sort), and guess a letter correctly, then you get that card. Their rules will be explained when appropriate.

Special panels will have their rules re-iterated if you land on them, so don't worry. Some panels give you gifts/license plates/wedges that can add money to your total if you solve the puzzle. Others have unique effects that can benefit or hurt your performance.

Bankrupt, if you land on this unlucky space, will take away all of your money, wedges/gifts/wildcards, and force you to lose a turn! Unlucky!

Lose a Turn does not take away money, just skips your turn.

SO LET'S GET THIS STARTED! RUNOUW'S FIRST WHEEL OF FORTUNE GAME, RIGHT HERE, RIGHT NOW!

*Crowds filled with lots of runouw users and whatnot cheer as our three contestants take the stand*

Harmless: "WEEELCOME, ONE AND ALL! It is so exciting to have you here for the first Wheel of Fortune game ever hosted on Runouw! I am your host, Harmless, and these are your three contestants!"

"In the first player spot, we have a new and upcoming Runouw user with a knack for great art and generally good reputation! But will his competitive edge show on this game? Let's make some noise, for FROZENFIRE!!"

"In the second player spot, we got a 5-year Runouw veteran with some of the biggest notoriety in the Level Designer department, and Global Moderator experience! Will his long-time experience on Runouw shine here? Give it up, for MESSENGER OF DREAMS!!"

"And last but certainly not least, in the third player spot, we have welcomed a 4-year Runouw veteran with a good knowledge around the forum boards, and knows his stuff when it comes to video games! Can he take the victory here? Welcome to the game, CHAOSYOSHI!!"

*crowd cheers*

Don't we start with a toss-up first and then get to the cheesy get-to-know-you segments?

[Harmless]

Before we begin the first round, we're going to have two smaller rounds to determine the turn order, and get you guys in the game. These are called Toss-Up Puzzles.

The first one is worth $1,000, the second one is worth $2,000.

-- So how do Toss-up Puzzles work? --

Harmless will give you a puzzle, and a few letters filled in. Players may opt to Pass, or Buzz-in.

- Passing is a sign that you're going to wait for Harmless to fill in more letters. You may still change your mind and buzz-in if you choose to pass. If all players who have not buzzed-in pass, then Harmless will fill in more letters.

- Buzz-in! By posting 'Buzz-in', you can solve the puzzle. Solving it wins you the round!

Be careful though! If you solve it incorrectly, you cannot buzz-in until all other players have buzzed in! If Harmless fills the entire puzzle before someone solves it (not at all likely), then nobody wins the round.

Now, with that in mind, let the first Toss-up Puzzle begin! This one is for $1,000.
