You look down at the city from the hole. If your pants did fall onto the ground, it would be useless to try to locate them from here. Even if the sun comes out, you won't be able to see your pants without a pair of binoculars because the floor you're on is really high up. It looks like you're on the 50th floor of the building you're in; that's how far away from the ground it is. As you look down, the helicopter that you had been hanging on passes under you. You notice that your pants are still caught on the front of the helicopter's landing strut thingies.
