Being from the career districts, it was destiny for this alliance to occur... either that or soil a tradition of career alliances spanning as long as the games existed. The five of them make it their first priority to secure the cornucopia. They do so rather quickly. Their methods of securing the cornucopia varied.
Doram, Yuri, and Amp took to scaring people off rather than killing them. Raz and MoD were slightly more bloodthirsty, but Doram was able to convince them not to kill anybody with good points and arguments. After the bloodbath, Raz had wounded, but not killed a few tributes. The five of them gather enough food to last them nearly a month, enough water for 2 weeks, various tools, materials to construct traps, materials to build a shelter, and five good quality weapons. Doram wields a sword, Yuri takes a trident, MoD finds a hand-axe, Raz takes a spear, and Amp finds a bow with sufficient ammunition. Yuri begins constructing traps to guard the supplies, while MoD and Amp are tasked with building fortifications. They get into a serious argument, but Doram is able to settle it... in Amp's favor.

When the horn sounded, he eyed the competition... Everyone looked tough. He didn't want to risk his life for some supplies, and if he didn't die,
he probably would have gotten injured. It wasn't worth it to him.

Oranjui saw it first. The bag had everything that complimented her skillset. She could make snares, bait,
and various traps with the materials in the bag on scavengable materials in the woods. She ran to it, but someone else got to it first: Positron. Positron could tell it was filled with supplies, materials, and a good weapon or two. Thus, it attracted both of their attentions. Being from District 12, Positron worked hard for his family, and as a result, he was much stronger than Oranjui. He threw heavy hits at her, only for them to be blocked. Unfortunately for Positron, he was so engaged in the fight, he failed to notice a certain career behind him: MoD. Mod hit a glancing blow on his left leg, knocking him off balance.
Seeing this, Oranjui grabbed the bag and ran, without even looking back amongst the chaos. MoD held the axe over Positron's head, ready to kill him...
until a hand tapped her on the shoulder. It was Doram... The distraction was enough for Positron to back up and run away into the woods, empty-handed and with a serious leg wound.

The timer was counting down, but Nan froze, his eyes staring off into the distance, focusing on one small spot. He saw it before anyone else did,
and he felt the explosives calling out to him. He wanted it. In fact, he was so fixated on it some would have believed he was stricken with stage fright.
The second the timer hit zero, he leaped off of his platform and dashed towards the cornucopia, paying no attention to the carrers following him. He nabbed the bag and turned to run, only to hit Raz, who kicked him down onto the ground. He stared up at Raz, helpless, backing away... until he hit the wall of the cornucopia... He was cornered. Raz laughed evilly, picking up a nearby spear. Nan's own life flashed before him, as Raz brought down the spear mere inches from his stomach.

"Wait!" called a female voice. "Don't kill him!"

Nan and Raz's eyes both went to the figure. It was Amp.

Reluctant, Raz pulled the spear back. "You're lucky. Next time I see you here, you're dead, got it!?"

Nan nodded, eyeing Amp with hope.... "T-thank you..." he said, before rushing off into the protection of the forest.

Raz then turned to Amp, scoffing. "Coward." He walked towards the cornucopia and the rest of the careers, while Amp stared blankly at Nan as he ran off.

Both being from District Six, Harmless and Magnen planned an alliance since they first arrived at the capital for training. As the countdown begins to run, they both search the platforms for each other. Magnen finds her ally first, making direct eye contact to attract her partner's attention. A few seconds later Harmless finds Magnen, and they both nod. The thirty seconds are up way too quickly, however, and they are both distracted slightly when the timer hits zero. They find each other, and pick up some supplies around the safer edges of the area.

They find three bottles of water, a handwoven basket, a small knife,
a fishing kit, and a box containing 6 loaves of bread. They notice the anarchy transformed into the careers scaring off stragglers as a group. Not wanting to die, Harmless and Magnen run off into the woods together.

This time the fight was lethal. Very lethal. Both Karyete and l.m knew the value of a simple lighter... but in this case, a simple lighter was only the tip of the iceberg. The lighter was visible, on top of a small cache of weapons. Pocket knives, slingshots, and a sword. Then there was nourishment.
Cheese, apples, grapes, and longer-lasting food like jerky... All in a transparent waterproof bag... Sure, the transparency was a downside, but that didn't matter, at least not to Karyete and l.m. They both grabbed onto it, not seeing each other until they realized the bag they grabbed was moving in the opposite direction they intended. l.m threw a punch in Karyete's face, but Karyete countered by kicking him in the groin. l.m fell over, holding his nuts in pain.
He moved towards Karyete, but he was too slow. Karyete had already taken a knife from the bag and wielded it. He combined punches with periodic stabs on l.m's vital organs... l.m fell over to the ground in pain, and Karyete did him a favor by ending his life quickly by cutting off his head... "Noone deserves suffering." he thought.

Looking around, he realized the careers were taking over. Some of them were taunting him, scaring him off. He wondered why they weren't attacking him,
but he knew now was not the time to question unlikely mercy. He dropped the bloody knife in the bag, grabbed it, sealed it shut, and ran off, leaving the carcass of his victim behind on the ground.

Bogdan trained for this moment. He knew exactly what he was going to do: Run. His first and biggest priority was to find a clean water source and claim it for himself... preferably somewhere with high-ground. Once he secures it, he'd gather enough supplies to outlive his enemies... Bogdan's strategy was to play it smart, safe, and most importantly, alone.

Basic survival: Consume food and water or you will die. Zunar found a large camouflaged bucket with enough food and water for a week if it was rationed well, but Venexis wanted it as well. Venexis was not the most athletic person, and a result, reached the bucket he was aiming for late. However, what he lacked he made up for with sheer wit. Zunar eyed him with suspicious and anger as he was filling the bucket with more supplies in his arms length.

"If you want this, you're going to have to take it from me!" he taunted.

Venexis began acting, and backed up slightly, in mock terror. "I think the careers are about to, though!"

Zunar turned around to look, giving Venexis a chance to kick Zunar onto the ground and swipe the bucket. Ven ran off with it, but Zunar had gotten up and began to chase him down. Zunar was naturally faster, and Venexis knew he was hot in pursuit, so he sacrificed a bottle of water from the bucket he had.
He calculate the perfect trajectory of the throw in less then a second, and tossed it behind him without looking back.

It landed right where he wanted: on Zunar's feet. The wet bottle caused him to skip and hit his head on the ground with a rock as Venexis ran off with the bucket.

Venexis was no ordinary person. He had an IQ of somewhere between 4000 and 5000, and he came up with flawless plans instantaneously down to the smallest detail.

Megar didn't want to die... He was scared... He ran off into the deep forest as soon as the horn sounded. From his experience, he knew not to trust other people... And the violence and screams he heard as he ran affirmed his suspicions.

Maaaaarrrrriiiiio knows a human needs three things to live: Food, water, and shelter. The cornucopia might provide some sort of shelter, but the careers were egotistical and selfish, and would probably exhaust their food source quickly.... And they had no water either. The smart thing to do in this case is run. The wilderness provides food and water, and nature provides canyons and caves to serve as natural shelters. The smart thing to do is run. And he knew that well.

Raiyuuni was fortunate enough to gather supplies during The Bloodbath without any incidents. The first thing he picks up is a long katana fit for a samuRai. Using that to intimidate anyone who comes near him, he gathers a box of matches, a knife, a small package of rice, and a flashlight. With everything he needs, he runs off quickly.

Water. Water is scarce. peter's advisers have constantly stressed how people died from dehydration in his district. Sure, he could have used some iodine or a water filter, but since the arena wasn't a desert, he believed he could find a source of clean water pretty easily.

BY was slightly unlucky. He was unable to find supplies worthwhile of his time. As a result, he was the last person still scavenging in the area.
Raz approached him, stabbing him in the back with his spear.

"Go." he ordered. "Before I kill you."

Resisting the urge to try and nom Raz, BY backed away and ran off with only a bottle of water and a bag entirely empty sans a piece of metal.

N and Awesomeguy both scavenged in the same area. When they ran into each other, they weren't too hostile since they were from the same district.
They worked quickly to split everything they found evenly.

Awesomeguy received a box of shurikens, a red flashlight, a large box of cereal, and a water filter.
N received a whip, a blue flashlight, a first aid kit, and some iodine.

As the horn rang out and the timer reached zero, Fluorescence was the one who stalled... Run or get supplies? He made it up in his heart and mind before the games to run, but upon seeing all the supplies he couldn't decide what to do. Thirty seconds wasn't enough for him... after all, this was a lot more supplies than in previous hunger games...

Stalling for an extra 8 seconds - 8 valuable seconds, could have cost him his life, but decisions are known to be the difference between destiny and free will, so he took extra time to think...

He finally decided, it wasn't worth it. He was wasting time anyway, because if he decided to go for supplies, the other tributes would have gotten it anyway.
Besides, he trained and planned for the past week for a pure survival strategy, assuming he had no supplies... assuming the worst case scenario. It just made sense to run.
