I have been a fan of SMB63 for a while on other sites, and it was only recently that I found the official site here, so, a bit of newbie hello here. Otherwise, on the the meat.

----------

I think that if you are looking for artists to help you with the new game, I would suggest three possible collaborators:

1st Choice: Brad Borne Official Site, Contact

He has won awards for his Flash games,
Casual Gameplay - Best of 2009: Mirror's Edge 2D
Flash Gaming Summit: Mochi for Indie Games and the related post.

He does collaborations. He has great art and programming skills. Play The Fancy Pants Adventure: World 2. Think about it. Also, if he can't do it, he knows a bunch of other flash artists to recommend (most of his friends also make flash games - check the credits on FPAW2).

2nd Choice: Andrew Wolf Official Site, Contact

He's fairly prolific, a decent artist, and well experienced. Check out his stuff on OfficeGameSpot and Newgrounds

3rd Choice: Matt Roszak Official Site

Less experience than Andrew Wolf, better art. Check out his stuff at Armor Games, especially Epic Battle Fantasy 2

----------

Anyways, newbie sign off - Love your stuff, keep up the good work, new game looks awesome.

EDIT:
This is not meant to advertise for any of these games, places, or people. I am not associated with any of these people as anything other than a fan of their work, and all I am trying to do is make a substantive contribution to the community here. Sorry if I caused any confusion.

Well it seems as though that Runouw are now doing their own stuff instead of taking other people's work. So their new game is completely their own with no copyrights or anything getting in the way.

Runouw wrote:(BTW, if you are a skilled artist who can draw better than the above picture, email us about being the artist for the game).

...though I think the Runouws have their own style which looks pretty good.

Well, if Runouw is not accepting any more artists for the game (Which I had PM'd him and asked him about, but got no response), he should at least give some kind of notice.
