[SUGGESTION] Artist suggestions for the new game.
I have been a fan of SMB63 for a while on other sites, and it was only recently that I found the official site here, so, a bit of newbie hello here. Otherwise, on the the meat.
----------
I think that if you are looking for artists to help you with the new game, I would suggest three possible collaborators:
1st Choice: Brad Borne Official Site, Contact
He has won awards for his Flash games,
Casual Gameplay - Best of 2009: Mirror's Edge 2D
Flash Gaming Summit: Mochi for Indie Games and the related post.
He does collaborations. He has great art and programming skills. Play The Fancy Pants Adventure: World 2. Think about it. Also, if he can't do it, he knows a bunch of other flash artists to recommend (most of his friends also make flash games - check the credits on FPAW2).
2nd Choice: Andrew Wolf Official Site, Contact
He's fairly prolific, a decent artist, and well experienced. Check out his stuff on OfficeGameSpot and Newgrounds
3rd Choice: Matt Roszak Official Site
Less experience than Andrew Wolf, better art. Check out his stuff at Armor Games, especially Epic Battle Fantasy 2
----------
Anyways, newbie sign off - Love your stuff, keep up the good work, new game looks awesome.
Doram
EDIT:
This is not meant to advertise for any of these games, places, or people. I am not associated with any of these people as anything other than a fan of their work, and all I am trying to do is make a substantive contribution to the community here. Sorry if I caused any confusion.
