I can't express my love for good games that implement money systems. You know... you get money from beating people, and progressing through the story. Then, you go to the in-game shop, and purchase what in this SSBE could be.. characters, stages, etc, instead of unlocking them via the story mode (or whatever). It just gives players even more freedom, by allowing them to choose what they get in their game. You could put so many great things for people to save up for. Maybe new things would become available in the store as you progress through the game?
And as Buff suggested, you could even implement the Money System into the DLC. User-created levels could be free, but ones by Runouw would cost something.
Whow. Too far ahead of myself again. I'll stop now.
Idea:
Maybe, we can hold contests, and the winning stage gets deleted from the DLC list, then gets added to the store.
Also stuff in the store would be:
Stage Builder Items
Stages
Character variations
Power-ups
Effects (Sparkling trail after character, bigger explosion visuals, yadda, yadda)
Special Brawl modes
Also, when your stage wins a contest you get a lot of money. Lets say if a stage costs 100, then you would get 200 or 150 points.
And achievements, like fight with Link 20 times, and win a statue and some points.
And not to do with the money system, you can trade extra statues rather then frustratingly working to get them with other people.
For the level designer, there is no code system, so people have no chance of spamming their level codes anywhere.
That is a bunch of ideas. What do you think?
