Is this game ever going to be released?

...I noticed that this game and the Guitar Hero-like game were taken off the Games Section of runouw.com. Is it because of copyright and stuff?

I don't think it is copyright (because SM63 would have to be taken off as well), but more because they are not as "good" (but hey, still pretty awesome) or not as complete as the SM63 and LL and GT.

And Runouw is working on LL right now, so don't expect a release soon.

Everything is handled by The Spriter's Resource. Runouw is merely the programmer. If you want to help, join their forum and start creating sprites (in the same style as their current ones) and see if you can spark some interest back into it.

Yeah the interest in the project has really died down. Even after Smash Bros Wii U has been announced.

I think most people have given up on the project because it is too much work to create a sprite that everyone agrees looks perfect. And anyone else moved to Super Smash Flash 2 because they wanted to see a project that looks like it's closer to being complete. My goal for the project now is to make a character creator and just leave the game to make itself. Then when enough characters are done I'll put in the story modes and online mode.

Those games were removed because they were incomplete and only added to the website to make the games page feel less empty. If you wanted to play them, they still exist on my sheezyart page.

What happened to Sheezyart? It seems to be not working for years.
