Im sure its not just me but keytar hero doesnt work with frets.

Yeah, i pressed shift and the number.

It's Enter, not shift, shift activates the star power.

Actually i kinda tried both but it never has worked.

Make sure you've clicked the screen, I made that mistake. Check that the numbers work, they should light up when you press them. Then when one of the circles travels towards you, press the number 1,2,3,4, or 5 and Enter at the same time. Make sure you also press these two together, just before it hits the edge of the screen.

*FACEPALM* Thta WAS my problem. After i clicked the screen it worked. Ok lock time. WAIT WAIT! lets go fourlock!
