with all those other NES characters, why not throw Simon in the mix? his specials would be >B is sub-weapon (50% chance knife, 25% holy water 15% axes 10% bible) ^B would be an upward swing while jumping, vB would be flailing the whip around, and his final smash would involve dracula appearing, and transforms the stage into the blue vortex thing, and is big and green in the background, as a sort of assist trophy, shooting fireballs at random players. all his standards are with the whip, but weaker in the air.

Well, if Snake is in, then all Konami is possible, from (insert name here) Belmont to those commandos from Contra (Alucard! Alucard! Alucard!). I say, we got Nintendo, Sega, Rare, Hal Labs, and Konami, so we need Capcom. Come on, Ryu versus Mario! Fireball fight!!! Mega Man versus Samus Aran! Energy weapons unleashed!!! M. Bison versus Bowser! Who is the king of Cheap!!! Claire Redfield versus Solid Snake! Battle of the survivalists!!! I truly wish they would put that in the main official series.

As for the "unpopular" characters, Pitt from Kid Icarus was numbered amongst those, and now has a fairly kickass new game in development. So, yes, this is absolutely a venue for old forgotten characters to get new life and attention.

Weird would be Katamari Damacy (If we throw Namco on the pile too - Sophitia! Pac Man! Yoshimitsu!). Katamari is so out there. I would be fairly horrified to be confronted with King of all Cosmos in all his blue and purple spandex glory (*shiver*). Plus, what would his attacks be?!?

Ok if they put pacman in brawl, that would ruin the game right there.

How so? It could be like the Pac-Man from those 3D games where you run around and jump and things. >_> I've never played them, but it would probably be simple to do.

But what would his movesets be? He doesn't really have any moves.
