How do you know that's the real roster?

Runouw is just the programmer of the game. The Spriter's Resource actually started the project, and is in charge of the creative side of the game.

In fact, Runouw was the one who offered to work on the game part of the project himself.

Because the character decisions are final. There's been a long discussion on tSR since they are making the sprites, so no one else is being added.

"Ok, out of any characters that should be in super smash bros. brawl demo, I think it should be metal sonic... You know, sonics robot form. His moves could be turning super metal sonic having invincibility, can do spins, fly, and send out rockets like samus does. Also, his taunt could be him saying "there's only one sonic." Yes, but after the characters have all been completed (in like... another ten years), I'm sure people will be able to sprite other characters for the game, assuming of course they're in style.

Not to mention the character creator, which makes that all possible anyway.

But then there's no real point in this topic at the current time, as the character creator is still heavily in its early stages, and the game's character roster is already confirmed.
