WASD or Arrow Keys - Move ship
Hold Left Mouse Button - Shoot at enemies
1 2 3 or Z/Y X C - Change weapon
L - Switch off effects to raise FPS

Sounds okay I guess. I hope you plan to spice the game up with some concepts of your own. I'm personally not much of a fan of these types of games, but I'll definitely check up in the future to see what you bring to the table.

bullets being killed when outside the screen to reduce lag

Cool update Suyo, just a few things:
--Why is there a box beneath the player?
--Engine will lag a little when it gets hectic.
--Enemies are a bit unpredictable both in their attacks and the number of enemies on screen at once

It does for me. Sure the flash is focused?
Also, ignore the white rectangles, I forgot to disable hitbox display :p
