Other than my crappy level, the game is pretty good. Not what I would call "great", but good. :p

HA, I BEAT YO LEVEL FOO. it ws pretty good, took a few trys and greatly confused me at first.so... yeah

The main game is great. Except for the fact that it seems to be unfinished. It's fun, challenging, I like it. And the points and the store were really good ideas.

The store is great. I could see different backgrounds in the store, and since there's a level editor, the unlockable items for it I could see being there. But music? And even cursors!? Fantastic. You win.

Level Editor? Pretty good. I don't have much to say on it.

And for the boss fights... I think you should just take them out. They're not that fun, and they're just too easy.
If you do keep the boss fights, change them so that they aren't just a block shooting squares at you, following you as you move around, and has a shield. Here's an idea: Use one of the normal squares and have it shoot at you as you are completing the level. If you get hit, say 3 times, you have to start the level over. I mean, it seems like a puzzle game, rather than an action game. It's a bit like the Portal games, even, with the little turret things, and the movable blocks. And they don't have any REAL boss fights. In Portal 1, there's just something that shoots at you every 10 seconds or so and you have to knock it back, then throw the part that falls off in a fire. In Portal 2, there's a bit more of a fight. Bombs are being spit out at you the whole time, and there are shields. But they're both still puzzles, you aren't in one spot shooting directly at it. They both involve strategy, just like the normal puzzles in the game. The normal levels in Epic Squares are puzzles much like the Portal games, except without the portals. So, this is considered a puzzle game, thus, boss fights either 1. shouldn't exist or 2. be more of a puzzle than a straight out fight.

also oranj, i think i might change the boss system(again), when you said have a regular square instead i started thinking of a new boss system. i'll see what i can do.

V8 will be out *counts* maybe a month or so? depends on my attention span. and if i can get the story sprites done. and it also depends on-*goes on reading a very long list*
EDIT: OH NOES! I PUT MY GM8.1 FILE IN MY MOMS DOCUMENTS, THEN I FORGOT TO PUT IT BACK ON SD CARD.
