I orignally wanted to post this yesterday, as a present for oyu on my birthday, but turns out you're kinda busy the entire day when celebrating. Heh. Well, that means it's a Screenshot Saturday post then.
Here's two of the special enemies which you will encounter during the waves. The first one is the Splitter, who explodes into four other enemies when killed. The Splitter itself has a bunch of he
alth and is a little slow, but the "products" are fast and weak. Obviously four enemies do more damage than one when they get through your defenses, so you need to take care of them quickly.
The second one is the biggest danger for your towers, the Bomb. You can decide to place towers inside the lane, where it can be attacked and will eventually break. Bombs instantly cause towers to lose a third of their health if they are in their area, and can be devastating if ignored.
Some more specials are coming up, and then there will be our first wave design and balance phase. Oh boy!

Announcing the RTS One. We call it that because we have exactly one boss right now, and the graphical representation is not final. Hey, at least it's not wireframes! Insert some more jokes about the "MAGIC AND SCIENCE" quotes, about Kinect, or the always-online DRM.
