Rhythm Tower Story is a cooperation beetween Mike Dannebaum from Ganon95 Music, famous for his BIT.TRIP remixes which were so awesome he was invited to Gaijin Games and his songs were even added into BIT.TRIP COMPLETE, and me, a lousy coder.
Mike describes the game as a "tower defense with unique story based gameplay". I'd rather call it a "music-based tower defense". It's something of both. The basic engine was recently finished, so we have started revealing it. Here's the newest screenshot:



As you can see, RTS is still deep in development, but we hope to get our first milestone done in a week, when Mike visits Gaijin again and shows our project off to them.
Until then, you need something. If it's a music-based game, what would a showcase be without some tunes? Here's a sample of the track of the first level, Happiness.

Mike's visit was pushed back a bit, so I got a few more days to fix some stupid bugs and maybe even get the first cutscene done.
