How did the game run for you towards the end?

The frame rate did drop quite a bit starting around levels 6-7, though it was buttery smooth during the first few levels

running core 2 quad Q8300, 8GB RAM, integrated graphics
which is to say absolute ♥♥♥♥

tried this again

i5-4670K, GTX 770 2GB, 8GB RAM

frame rate drops start around level 6, but only very occasional
slightly more often in level 7 (with the flying arrows)
8-10 was pretty consistent in amount of lag spikes, though not too bad (maybe down to 20-40 fps)
The high levels were still playable

I probably won't have a chance to update next week, but I'm thinking about reducing the amount of on-screen enemies on levels 7 and 8. After that, those levels shouldn't lag nearly as much.

You are deleting entities once they fall off the screen, right?

It's been a while since I've updated, so I just thought I'd come in and say that I haven't abandoned the game. However, other things have been keeping me preoccupied, and while I might make some light progress here and there, I'm planning to finish the bulk of the game during spring break (late March). So there you have it. No huge updates until next month. Sorry. ._.
