I made, with a friend's help, a platform demo. It uses Waluigi sprites for the moment, as I do not have my own sprites yet, and I wanted to have something a little different.

You can't finish it, and it is a bit glitchy so don't expect much.

First of all, let me say this is way better than anything I can do. It clearly needs work; the platforms look like they are drawn by a five year old with a marker, and of course it's very short. Also, moving up steep slopes was impossible without jumping (I don't think this is intended) and whatnot. But it's looking go so far.

There is some slope coding I'm looking for, which allows the character to turn when it goes up slopes... and the platform it just a test.

I'd say a good first demo, although I'm sure the final game will look way different.

Also, are you using Flash or Game Maker for this?

If you really want to be. I'm doing my own art, but help would be appreciated.

Also updated the game slightly. You can now go up slopes, although not down them very well, and there is a place at the end where you will be lifted up due to the wind.

Already greatly improved…and I know you still have a lot more planned…keep it up!

You should upload a brand new one of the newest copy, and delete the old one.

Erm... no. (EDIT: It's fixed for Lr)

You can now die, and retry. There's also a random trampoline which you can jump on.
