long ago in a land far away there was a great kingdom. But the king, Bathazaar, was very cruel. He raised taxes to a very high rate. A rate so high that only the rich could pay it.
The main reason for this was to pay for the war raging between them and the kingdom on the next island. He bought weapons like no tomorrow.
the army had so many weapons, and was so large that they could've fought the entire world. So as you can expect from all his weaponry and man power Bathazaar won the war.
The second reason for this was to put money in his own pocket, as well as his right-hand man Dahur. And of course the tax collecters where able to make a nice profit from this too. But he never lowered the taxes. So the only ones that could pay them where, like I said, the rich. Which now included the soldiers who fought in the war.
What happenend to the ones that couldn't pay you ask? they where forced to move to the lower parts of the kingdom that the people called 'Slums'. And in these 'Slums' the living conditions where horrible.
there is hardly any food, and water is even harder to find. And if thats not enough there are monsters roaming the outskirts. Though the resident where succesful in keeping them out.
Those who resisted to go to the slums where killed. So while the poor died of starvation, and mourned for there loved ones. The King was partying with the rich.
Where are you in all of this? You are a young man named Rynold (Note: you do have the option to name your character at the start of the game, but Rynold is the default) living in the slums. You make it pretty well for living in these conditions. But the rest I think you should see for yourself.

All the maps in here are done (Shops, houses, etc) but I don't think they need to be posted. The right side is mostly done, just a few touchups.
