Yeah, sorry the ending was so "abrupt". I would've had more after the freezer thing, but I ran out of time. And I just didn't get much time to do the level at all with the stuff that goes on IRL. At least I got that much done... I think my level designing skills are improving, though.

And MP3, just one little last place isn't bad. You still took the time to create a level and you wanted to participate in the contest and you even got a score of.. What was it? 13/20? Sure, there's plenty of people who've gotten better scores than you, but there's a lot more who've gotten worse scores. Don't just walk away. Don't sit in the corner and cry. Okay, you can do the corner thing if you really feel bad and just want to let it out, but don't stop. BELIEVING. HOLD ON TO THAT FEELIN- *is shot* Just... It's not like your whole life is over or you embarrassed yourself in front of the entire world or you accidentally set off a nuclear attack or anything. If you have a dream, follow it. In short, be this guy.

I'm sorry, but it's not me. The fact I came last in this has just proven that I should be wiped off the face of SM63.

I still like playing levels, but I'll always feel the slight disheartened that I never really succeeded in what I thought I was talented in.

MP3 EDIT: It's not so much that I came last ... it's more that I've never won anything in my life. I'm used to coming last, I just don't know whether I'll ever come across the day I actually win something. I was sorta hoping it would be a level designer based winning.

I've got a 4.5/20. Nuff said.

Anyway, MP3, as Aesop says, you can always find someone in a worse position than you.

You've managed to get top 10 in I think, both LDCs so far. I was in them too. First I got a 32. Then an 11th. Point is, you're better than over three quarters of the RUnouwian populus. Need some motivation? Look at the old LDP. There ya go. I want to see the happy and cheerful MP3. Not this one.

Right, about that. MoY pretty much explained what happened. I actually included a little part about that in my post, but looks like it got lost due to MoY and I editing the same post at once. o_O Anyways, I'll include your review as a "bonus review" in my post. Give it a look, Killswitch!

Also, regarding shadowsquid, he is memetically considered the "Chuck Norris" of the forums, for no good reason.

The first waypoint system doesn't work too well when half of the candies cannot be obtained if you use it. Even after the first three, you're blocked from reaching the waypoint, making it useless.

There are 6 coins, not 8.

I knew this was coming; I was actually planning to make my level larger than that but yeah, my computer time was almost up (I was really bored with designing so I just played PC games after that on that day.). I planned to change the "8" to "6" in the first sign but I forgot.

The last section required 3 'instability script'-esque warning windows before it finally loaded. Was it so necessary to overpack it to such an extreme extent? It might just be me, but I can't recall any individual section of a level ever giving me this much grief.

Honestly, I never expected this. Works fine on me.

What do you mean by this?

The first checkpoint near the start has to be used after the first three red coins are gathered if one is to complete the stage properly, since there is no way to backtrack. However, even after collecting the third coin from within the block maze, said block maze prevents you from reaching the crucial pipe. Even if you wait the timer out, there is no way to jump high enough, so you're still stuck taking the normal route.
As such, it is a useless checkpoint, since the level cannot be completed if you use it.

Honestly, I never expected this. Works fine on me.

It varies between computers, since some are more powerful than others. Mine is rather out of date, so it simply takes a long time to load such a section that is literally packed with tiles / items to such a complete extent. MoD commented on this as well, so it isn't just me.
