I believe the reason we supposedly have the rule that it should be type 2 is so that we actually have some clue as to who people are. I have to look through peoples notes just to see who they are.

Only global moderators can change usernames, which is why we take all requests for name changes.

Okay locking this, Halloween is today and almost over for some of us, so if you don't have a name change yet, then tough because you've had ages to get one. Plus they get changed back tomorrow or the day after.
