Ok people, I'm seriously motivated to give some warnings out if this doesn't stop. This situation has been getting out of hand for a while now. If Shroom, or anyone else continue with this constant fighting, then I'll be glad in giving out a warning for everyone involved.

And you kind of put oil into the flames, whenever something like this starts, MoD.
There were actual discussions about warnings, but it got decided otherwise, as again, both sides are to blame.
Except you want free warnings for everyone and think of that as appropiate. I hope you don't seriously consider that.
Again. It's asked to calm down now. Take this to a more private level if it's that important to you.

Also can tell that there will be taken actions, the next time a discussion similar to this one comes up.

I'm sorry, but I'll just quote a pretty popular phrase we have here.

"When one doesn't want to, two won't fight". So MoD, even though he started the discussion, the whole situation wouldn't be like it is now if everyone just stopped putting more wood into the fire of this discussion. So you guys just continued it and made it worse.

I think this situation is a fairly big exception. For one, it seems he's pretty serious instead of just attempting to troll/illogically flame/whatever.

For two, if he's going to keep implying these passive aggressive remarks at me and keep calling my judging a fraud, then I have a right to respond.

I'm now unsure on what to do if Harm has dropped out of judging. I also don't want to make a poll in case people are biased.
May I request that Harm just send me the judgings he's done via PM (if he's done any) and I'll still judge Shroom's and that's it. This Halloween forum needs to be graveyarded very soon.

Since now and the last time he was an '♥♥♥' he'd actually been a good member. And the last time he was an '♥♥♥' he apologised, and as pretty much all the arguments suggest, it is just clash of opinion and morals.

I'll admit, I'm not impressed.
These are all split up into purely selfish/selfless reasons. Shroom doesn't want his level judged 'unfairly', but the truth is, low scores WILL be handed out if a judge feels that level deserves their score. The sad truth is, I could not imagine him ever complaining about the judging system if it weren't for his ambitious series placing low. It's quality over quantity, okay, and that needs to be learned. If you believe your level is worthy of a high score, it still doesn't mean everyone will. It's about taste. I love graphically pleasing levels, others love simplistic platforming levels. It's subjective okay, as we're all humans in this together we're never going to find a system that isn't and I'd rather not change anything and risk ♥♥♥♥ up all the scores in existence ever.

Now, I think everyone has got it out of their system, including me, we'll be quieter and more respectful to each other now.

I confess guilt as I'm the one who started all this up from nowhere, however I didn't intend to start another fight, I just wanted to prevent a case of recurrence. I didn't say anything in the way of "oh crap, Harmless judges, I've lost already" or so. All I did at first was giving something like a "possibility attestation" for my level.

If I knew beforehand that I would provoke Harmless to say "♥♥♥♥ it, my SM63 career is over", I would have shut my mouth. That wasn't predictable, and it's just saddening to me, as he doesn't have a place in the tier list for no reason. He's a good designer, and I wish him to keep moving on.

Okay Shroom, it's all water under the bridge. But just please understand that a large amount of what determines your scores come from yourself. I'm not saying this out of any spite or anything, I'm just saying this from experience. Trust me, I know exactly what it feels like to be in a position where you felt that the score you received was nearly unjustified. For a good two years I received nothing higher than a 14, and more commonly I was only given a 14, mediocre score at its finest. It took me so god damn long to finally get a 15 judging from Amp even.

Of course, receiving a 5.75 back then would understandably throw you off and doesn't seem like a comparison to what I've experienced. But just understand that 5.75 came from my unbiased perspective. Even then, receiving a 5.75 isn't going to hurt your record. After all, the Tier List fails to mention what MoY placed in when he first started LDing, so no sweat.

Most importantly though, I gave that judging to help you. I understand how much aspiration you have in you, and if I don't point out every single flaw in the most comprehensive detail possible, then you're not going to grow and learn from past mistakes. Just handing down what Nin, Amp, MoY, SMIC, and many others have taught me.

Sorry to interrupt your ending to the flame war, but I think I need to mention a few things, away from the flame war & on topic.

Actully I think my level isn't finished. Idk, the notepad I recorded is not, well, right. It recorded only a previous version. From like 2 days before I posted the level.

Ok, I checked & I relized that the level WAS complete. Its just that silly little bug notepad has.
So I fixed the notepad for future reference, and may possibly post this level in some collection or level series.
So yeah, I may make a sequel which takes place after the level's story. Maybe a boss fight..? Who knows? We may see an epic boss fight...
