I mean if anything that's a review, free advice really. I mean it's about a school shooting which is in and of itself a terrifying topic

But I might redo it anyways just because I don't have much faith in the story.

Silent Conversations and a Crow's Final Song!
My latest story, and one of my personal favorites. A girl bound in silence finds the words to say to her prospective girlfriend as they visit her religious father in a dusty town on the edge of Kansas, where the crows' migration south brings forth anchored memories, the path to resolution, and a new start.

Well yeah that's fair. I just tried to have a go on it. Some people liked it, other people hated it, that's okay. I am just happy I could at least achieve what I was going for.

Also MoD, sorry for that, I just had curiosity to look at yours and then question myself if the spooky halloween was a thing and then go "well ♥♥♥♥". It's not trying to mock you down or anything, though I really got pissed off when you said that.

Rating standards: show
1 star: (0 - 5.75 in LDC) These levels need a lot of work. They're totally un-elaborated, and/or inherently flawed due to things like cutoff or enemy spam, or they're untested and there are too many bugs gameplay-wise, in short: Many many things went wrong in such a level.

2 stars: (6 - 9.75) These levels are not terrible, but poor. They're too short, lack scenery or they have errors and/or bugs but it's still barely enjoyable. Again, spend more effort and try to do better. (if it's your first level that I rate two stars, it's not bad. There's a long way you can still go)

3 stars: (10 - 12.75) These levels are about mediocre. They may be still a little bit short, the gameplay is fine but not very original and graphics are also solid, but not breath-taking. Try to keep improving!

4 stars: (13 - 15) These levels are nice, but not the best. Effort has been put into them, there can some professionality be seen in gameplay and graphics, they're a nice experience to play, but there are still things you can do to make it even better. Try to go the extra mile!

5 stars: (15.25 - 20) These are really great levels, those which, as said, I would give more than 15 in an LDC. These suffice many high requirements, and it already goes into subtleties if you want to make them better. These levels are successful all around. Bravo.

These are just general principles I try to follow when rating. Sometimes I don't leave a further comment when rating, most times I do, if you have questions about it, feel free to ask further.

The Curse of the Damp Hat

Whilst investigating the death of a local computer programmer, a loving actor called Suki Blunder uncovers a legend about a supernaturally-cursed, damp hat circulating throughout Scotland. As soon as anyone uses the hat, he or she has exactly 45 days left to live.

The doomed few appear to be ordinary people during day to day life, but when photographed, they look skeletal. A marked person feels like a simple ostrich to touch.

Suki gets hold of the hat, refusing to believe the superstition. A collage of images flash into her mind: a greasy frog balancing on a blonde computer programmer, an old newspaper headline about a magic accident, a hooded snake ranting about ankles and a drinking well located in a backward place.

When Suki notices her moles have ostrich-like properties, she realises that the curse of the damp hat is true and calls in her nephew, a navigator called Cuthbert Giantbulb, to help.

Cuthbert examines the hat and willingly submits himself to the curse. He finds that the same visions flash before his eyes. He finds the greasy frog balancing on a blonde computer programmer particularly chilling. He joins the queue for a supernatural death.

Suki and Cuthbert pursue a quest to uncover the meaning of the visions, starting with a search for the hooded snake. Will they be able to stop the curse before their time is up? No.

With a poll we're not endangered to leave this unresolved many days after Halloween. (Still, if we would ever do a HLDC again, we probably would graveyard the rest first, like last year's Secret Santa)
