According to James, no-one; Apparently there used to be a whole bunch of scattered colonies that were led by the a small group of people, but they ended up splitting a long time ago.

Honestly, I think they're just calling it a colony as a loose synonym of settlement.

Now we do (apparently) still have a "sister" colony who we trade supplies with, contact with them is kept to a minimum.

If I recall correctly it's because the effect of the sun hitting the nitrogen and oxygen molecules scatters the color blue to our eyes faster than any other color.

...Why are you asking me this, anyway? Seems kind of unnecessary...

I relearned recently about a mistake I made shortly after I became a captain of our colony.
So, it'd probably be to undo that.

But if I had to pick something else, I'd probably never let "Jeffrey" in my life. Ever.
