Purge the Monsters! (COMPLETED - SEE LAST POST)

NAN

The two skeletons rushed at you head straight as soon as they were done. You quickly slashed through the skull of one of the skeletons, killing it.

KARYETE

You made your move as soon as Nan made his. The skeleton went down with ease. You could've sworn that there were more monsters at the beginning, but the numbers are dying out...what's happening?

MEGAR

You kicked your sword at the knight. The knight quickly retracted his thrusting arm and parried, but you followed it up with a solid kick to the shoulder! The force caused him to lose grip of his sword, dropping it a few steps away from him. The two skeleton knights have finally arrived, ready to head in and cut you down! What will you do now?

FREDERICK

You quickly rolled away. You saw a dumpster just a few steps away from you, so you immediately went for it, but-

KABOOM!

The fireball exploded on the ground. Although you pulled out some distance, the blast still managed to knock you over. The fiend roared, and breathed a stream of flames at you!


ALL

From the Halloween Subforum Section, you saw a huge and ominous figure. Puny human...for your valiant resistance, I, the Lich King, will drag you all down to the gates of Hell! The Lich King was clad in a ragged robe, with armor plated over his bones. He held a long scepter, with a shiny emerald on one end, and a sharp edge made of steel on the other. The Lich King himself is moving slowly. Ten ghosts flew out of the portal, along with twenty armored orcs marching out of it. Although the orcs are slower, some of them carry bows and magic staves. Fight? Or Hide?


Wave 1 (Zombie/Skeleton) Progress: 31/50 Killed.
Wave 2 (Orc/Ghost) Progress: 0/30 Killed.
Lich King's Status: 100%
BONUS: 1/5 Vampires Killed.

[Megar]

(i'm assuming that the big guy is dead)

Megar throws the sword he's holding (still in his foot, because he has to look cool) at the knight closer to the dropped sword's skull to try and crush it in one go. While it's distracted, he picks up the cool new fire sword and prepares to simply dodge the next attack coming at him by hopping back and unleashing a burst of flame at whatever decided to attack him, keeping out of their range.

He hears the Lich King arrive. "You go on and get out of here, right? At least let us sort out the first lot of losers you've called in!"

[Karyete]

His focus now firmly on the Lich King, Karyete had no intention to hide. He retracted his scythe and slowly walked in the direction of the King, while keeping a good distance.

Nan goes after an orc, using his sword.

(@Magnen: Oops, missed your post last time. It's okay, I'll just put it here.)

NAN

You ran head first into the organized phalanx of orcs. You tried to go after an orc holding a menacing battle axe, but the bowmen sniped you through their ranks, puncturing through your right knee and your waist. Guess you're not going to be an adventurer anymore, eh?
The orcs marched on. They're still held back by their heavy armor, so you still have some grace time before the melee orcs brutally murder you.

KARYETE

You approached the king and his army slowly. You saw Nan recklessly rush in, and got hit by two arrows.

MEGAR

The sword split the skeleton's skull in half, killing it in one shot. The other skeleton tried to slash you, but you picked up the fire sword and evaded its attack. You imitated the Brimstone Knight's stance and thrust a burst of flames at the skeleton, roasting its upper half into ashes. When you picked up the fire sword, the fire in the Brimstone Knight's eyes blew out, seemingly dead for good. You taunted the Lich King.

You think I'll just let you get a breather? Suddenly, an ominous gust circled you. The garbage can across the street rumbled, and suddenly flew up from the ground. It was sent flying toward you, spilling trash along the way. Three zombies approached from your left.

MAGGY

The skull was broken easily. You successfully smacked the hammer from one zombie's grip, but the other zombie flailed its hammer and clashed with your staff, bending it slightly! The zombie without hammer ran and jumped at you, and the zombie with hammer attacked as well!

[Megar]

"Look, I know you're trash, but come on, sending literal trash? That's just stupid!" Megar says, whacking all the pieces of trash away and when the can arrives doing a frontflip over it, slashing it in half from midair. Upon landing he faced the zombies and, running at them, played a continuous flurry of slashes from his left hand (being ambidextrous is fun) in front of him as a sort of defensive manuever.

Nan tries to move as away as he can with his bad waist and knee. I guess he could just roll sideways or something I don't know. I need to get into a building.

"Kary, help!"

[Karyete]

Karyete broke into a sprint, and stopped to hoist Nan over his shoulder.

"Don't be so reckless! We need to find cover."

He attempted to find an open building to run into without getting shot by arrows.

[Harmless]

Frederick rolls over his left shoulder as he does a fake out and rolls away from the dumpster, then when the flames pass by him (assuming they do), he goes back to the dumpster and reloads.
