Hey! Previous years were done in all silver/grey tones, so I figured this would be fine as well.

Although I do like the possibility of re-styling the place if you do not share my view of things. (I could be wrong. It's ALWAYS a possibility.) I'm glad we've found stylish and are using it as a resource for such explorations.

As a matter of fact, here's a thought. Let's do this up right, and make this an event, if you guys want. Everyone who wants to, make a new theme for the winter forums, using stylish, and we'll have a vote at the end of the season. The winner's design gets made into the new winter theme.

Do we like this idea? if so, we can re-purpose this thread.

The previews years, we used the actual prosilver theme (Default phpbb) which had a few tones of blue and was less grayish. The current theme looks like exactly like the Razzigrad one, probably slightly modified.
Comparision

Would look forward for your event though, but don't know how many people would enter besides me and Shad.

Well, funny enough (it's really not funny at all) I knew that I wanted to completely redo the winter style back when I was first made a glomo, so when it was time to make the April fools event, I cheated, and just took the prosilver that we had been using for the winter forums, and made it into Razzigrad, since it was already pretty blandly colored. Fast forward 8 months, and, I'm scrabbling to update the remains of Razzigrad, because of limited access to stuff, and limited time, and it was a ton of work, since other improvements I had made in the intervening time had actually broken stuff in here, on top of the fact that it had already been even more ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ into colorlessness than it was to begin with. The most that I had time for was the animated gif, which is actually a REALLY lazy animation (the snow layer just scrolls down - no complexity to the snowfall at all), and making sure everything else wasn't broken, and I switched the icon set to the set used for the regular Runouw style, so THAT wouldn't be black and white, and voila! Half-arsed Winter Forums GO!
