Apparently double-jumping and ledge-hanging are going to be added in, but that might mess up older levels. So my suggestion is, make an option in the level info window to disable double-jumping, and make it so that you use an item to determine where the character can ledge-hang. (This could also be used to make stuff like wall-jumping?)

You can slow down time to make jumping a little bit lower. Although I do agree this should be an option.

Karyete: Seriously, what is your problem? And not only that, you fail to even acknowledge you might be in some wrong here.
Karyete: Oooh it's you? Hello. Feel free to drop this right now. You're going to make yourself look like an idiot.
Karyete: We don't want to hear your opinion at this stage.

Some more things I just thought of:

*Fade To Black and Fade Out Of Black (is that what you call it?) trigger events.
*If/else, loops, and Boolean and number variables, if possible.
*On button triggers, give a choice as to whether they can be activated by jumping, walking, or both.
*The ability to rotate items like enemies (changing their gravity) and button triggers.
*Talkable NPCs with multiple possible appearances (actually, just the Talkable NPCs part would be fine).
*Some way to attach items to blocks so they move with the block.
*Make Color-changing boxes that are able to affect blocks.

Layers

Postby Animorph » July 25th, 2012, 8:51 am

- 3 Layers.
- Playing in different layers. (Totally not inspired by Paper Mario)
- Triggers, coins, etc. in 2nd and 3rd layers.
- MUSIC AND SOUNDS! (Must I say more)

3 Layers: This just would make level design more interesting. Just imagine being able to use a built in background and two background layer! THAT WOULD LOOK SO AMAZING!

Playing in different layers: Okay, yes, I've been watching too many Paper Mario LEt's Plays, but still, the idea is still awesome. Combined with the 3 layers idea, a lot of cool levels could be made.

Stuff in background layers: If you're playing in the other layers, having triggers and items available there would be awesome. It make easter eggs and secrets a lot more possible. You know, besides a lengthy puzzle involving climbing through a mountain using your space-time manipulation ability. *cough cough*

Music and Sound: We've been asking for this forever, so I don't need to go into details. Also, having music affected by triggers would be nice, allowing many cool cutscenes, boss fights, spooks, etc.

Though being able to disable movement, control player and enemies, etc. would help.

Yep! Agree w/ that! The cutscene posibilites are already great, but yeah... they are a bit incomplete without that!

There kind of is an invincible enemy. Take a box switch and link it to the knight. Make sure it is linked to Move Item. Then in Scale Y and Scale X type in a big number like 999999. Somebody probably discovered this and posted something about it so I must have not seen it.

That doesn't work. This was noted in the bugs section on planets how hit boxes don't get re-sized. There is a bizarre conflict with this. The hit box that lets you damage enemies gets scaled but the hit box for contact damage doesn't. The only exception to this is the Knight's sword as that does actually get a hit box re-size that allows that to hit you so long as the knight actually swing it. Of course, the knight's ability to swing is based on how close you are to the hit box that lets you hit the knight. The only reason I can think of that allows the Knight to hit you is because it's coded in flash. Basically, if the object that is the sword hits the player character then you take damage. This also allows you to damage others as your sword hits the enemy sprite/object. As such, even if you scaled the knight you take damage provided the knight actually swings the sword and it hits you. However, the hit box for contact damage is a separate object that doesn't get scaled thus it remains juts as small even though you can attack the enemy.

I'd like to suggest the option to re-size the hit box and also the option to choose what the hit boxes are tied to.

Edit: Not sure if I've suggested this or if it's been suggested, but planets and blocks that can hurt people.

My suggestion:
Get something buggy, laggy, incomplete... but at least something please!

I mean c'mon... I said to myself: "ahh... It'll take a month or two to finish LL... or at least update it... oh well... I'll take a break..."
Well... this is more than "a month or two"...

P.S:
Is the LL game abandoned?
