As a beta, Last Legacy does not have a full tutorial coming along with it. So, I guess that you have a lot of questions that need answering, and they can be answered here. Post a question, and anyone can answer it.

If you have any questions on triggers, go here.
If you want to know how to load levels, go here.

What are the links and the linkages for? :awe:

Links are basically used for naming an item for triggers. All triggers affect other items, and this is accomplished by using links. For example, if you link a coin with the word "coin" and then you make a trigger that moves items linked as "coin", then all items linked with coin will move based on the trigger. You can have as many items as you want linked to one word, or have them all linked to different ones.

.... Did I miss anything?

How do I place background tiles?

You can see where it says Tiles and Items can't you? Well on the left of that there are two grey/gray blocks. The far left (the one next to the Play level button) is the foreground. You are set to that by default. If you click the right one, it takes you to the background layer. Here you can place tiles and items in the background.

Wait, so let me get this clear. You can put anything down for "link" for an item that you want to involve in a trigger, and then you use the same thing for the linkage on the trigger and that's how you get it to work?

Exactly. But some triggers do not work well with links to some items, so be careful. All that happens when I mess up on that is the computer freezes up for a bit and then I have to quickly exit out of the tab. Just make sure you know which triggers work with which items.

EDIT: And another note, lots of triggers can also be linked, so make sure you know which text box links the item and which text box links to other items.

Could someone, if anyone, please see if you can "disable" sprites like in Super Mario 63. Also, if possible, you could try and "explore" and fool around with things and see what you can change about it. Maybe I make topic about it....

Anyways, is it possible? o_O
