Approving every level would make me quit my job. First 3 or 5 per user is fine.

I believe that all levels must have a minimum of n tile level changes or objects and an ending before it can be posted. Also, if the LeMods were to have to do that, they would have to get more LeMods or create a new rank specifically for level validations

I already said that.

Yeah, but people will abuse that by making 3 or 5 good levels, and then creating a massive spam attack. Remember what happened to Worst_Master?

I agree with this. :troll:

It would be boring if all level mods did was approve levels, wouldn't it? We'd still look for bad levels and punish their creators, even if they've had their first few approved. Its our purpose. Not only that, but do you think the average portal noob would have the attention-span to "waste" days on fair levels that would take a pro an hour to make, or even study and research how a good level is supposed to be?

Also, Worst_Master continuously made excellent levels. It was his attitude that got him banned.

I highly doubt anyone would have the willpower to create 3 good levels simply for the sake of causing a minor inconvenience for a small website like ours. <_< And if that particularly determined troll does come around, or if a good member goes renegade, the chances are rare enough that it's worth it to not have to approve every single level.

An even better solution, I believe, is to set an upload limit, say, three levels a day, for each user. Now I don't know about you, but I'd say it's pretty dang difficult to complete three well-made levels on a daily basis. In fact, I'd say if you ARE submitting more than three levels a day, chances are, little effort was put into them, they suck, and they need to go.

Right now, the best method to me sounds like this: Max three (or some other number) levels per day. First level is allowed through. Second and third require approval.
Most "good designers" would only need to submit one a day. If second and third happen to be spam levels, the first can be easily found and deleted. Easy?

Heh, better get used to it, ninny. All we mods do nowadays is approve forum posts. :awe:

So are you saying if a level isn't a certain length or height it shouldn't be accepted?

that would be annoying having only, like, 1 tile aloud or having to forced to use 50-149 tiles total :o_O:

or forced a 150x20 level JUST so it can be aproved or not :!:

quote this and say i if you agree with me :D

dont quote this past here if you agree with me

just in case noone has said this:levels should NOT be boring and have to be tested before handing into the portals care :)

I think that only members of Runouw and those that have posted a least three decent levels can rate other levels, to prevent good levels from getting low scores.

Some good levelmakers do rate down levels.

It would be less frequent though.
