I'm going to need an extension for about a week.

Reasons: School, finals, homework, unexpected real life stuff, too ambitious a level idea, helping JSlayerXero with his level.

If I don't get an extension, then I'll either start from scratch and make a minigame, or I'll have to drop out of the contest. (most likely the latter).

If I do get an extension, I might judge as well. Although might not be able to judge Xero's level, considering how much I helped with the boss.

The rules state no extensions. Sorry.

Karyete: Oooh it's you? Hello. Feel free to drop this right now. You're going to make yourself look like an idiot.
Karyete: We don't want to hear your opinion at this stage.
Karyete: You're not getting any apology, especially after now.

It's his first LL level, I think. Still surprised me since it came out of the nowhere. Also what's the point of that name change?

Yeah, because everyone totally has an equal amount of free time and nobody has any advantage in that regard, therefore nobody will ever need extra time due to external concerns, because there is no such thing as a life outside the internet.

Yes, and, if I'm not mistaken, contests have always allowed extensions as well. Deadlines should be more flexible, and not too strict, since the amount of free time varies heavily from person to person. For that reason, I don't think "no extensions" should ever be a rule, unless the contest has been already dragging on for a while; and I highly doubt that 17 days is considered as dragging on.

We decided to keep this Contest smaller and shorter because it's a mini LDC or inofficial LDC. I'm also not able to make a level for it, because several things keep me away from designing. Just enter the 1st official one which may start not too late after that one, I think. The official ones should allow smaller extensions, though.

Actually yes, all mini LDCs before this have not allowed extensions. The rules were copied from previous LDCs with some changing.

Also nan is now one of the judges.
