Thanks AwesomeJRFD!! Nobody will hate on MY levels!! Hate is strong... And mean... What if I hated YOUR levels penguini?
Here's some stuff about me, condensed into a spoiler!: show
Hi. I do level reviews and sometimes I might even draw something. Sometimes I might make a level. Sometimes I might make a level with Nan. But I prefer to pretend the old levels I made when I was like... 15 don't exist. Sometimes I even cook! Sometimes I even cook lobsters. Sometimes, people like the lobsters. Sometimes, I ride horses! 100% of the time, I get paid for helping people ride horses! That's what a job is.

What are you doing right now?: show
Doing a level collab with Nan. And also, a super-secret-exciting project. You'll know what it is when it happens.

No, seriously, who are you?: show
Luigi Fan 64. I just realized when I stopped being a pubescent sack of malaria that that username is the most generic thing since that chair you're sitting in right now.
Why are you so socially awkward?: show
Well, I'm mildly autistic. No, seriously. It's usually not a problem, though.
Why are you acting like we care about this FAQ?: show
Well, you're the person who didn't scroll down to the next post. So clearly, you care at least a little.

Thanks for not immediately scrolling off. Even though I guess I didn't do much to alter your life in this sig. Meh.

Good level, but triggers make the level much more amazing. If you need help on triggers, I am currently making a trigger tutorial. I'll PM it to you, because it will only be sent to those who want and need it.

Suyo already has a trigger tutorial topic.

I'm actually thinking about making a trigger tutorial too, though more in depth than Suyo's, and including some advanced techniques.

Also, Hybrog, may I have a copy of the trigger tutorial, too? I'd like to check it out. :awe:

Very nice. For not using triggers, this is very good. Though I must say it reminds my heavily of your attempt using the SM63 editor. Triggers do take some time to learn. I read the tutorial, but I had to do some experiments in order to actually understand it though. For any trigger/button, there is a queue. This has a minus and plus sign above it. Minus removes the selected item from the queue, plus adds the selected item into the queue. Select an item in the queue to edit it. For changetile to work properly, you need two things, the upper-left corner of the blocks you want to edit, and want to edit in. To select the blocks to edit, hit the pick tile box. Now mouse over a block outside the trigger's properties window. Click that, that will be the upper-left corner of what you will edit. Now to change it, go to tile mode and use select mode. Highlight the blocks you want to use, and hit the copy button. Go back to the trigger queue. Hit the copy from clipboard button. There, now when the trigger activates, the blocks you selected will change into the blocks you copied. Note that what changes is base entirely on what you copied. It is also best to copy before going into the trigger's property box.
I agree, Suyo's tutorial is the most informative. But I actually checked the triggers he used afterwards to see what he did. But I'm also a code geek so I figured a lot of it out quickly. But I'm still new at using camera.

Edit: I just realized how long a the last post was...
