Ohh, that's actually kinda interesting. So there will be native guild members (the ice beasts) and colonial guild members (viking descendants)? Do you know what you want to call the guild?

If you can, make a Character Biography for yourself as well, using the template in the first post.

Well, a huge percent our people lost their pirate characteristics over the hundreds of years, and discrimination has been going around. The other guilds have stereotypes about us and assume that we're all still pirates. I'm not quite sure what to call my guild yet, and I haven't thought of a character biography for myself. Also, I have an IRL friend who's not part of Runouw. Can he join? His name in-game is Arirang2009, but he's known as Pyromaniac22. Here's his character's biography in case you say yes:

Name: Amisna
Age:33
Appearance: a tunic and a hood on, as well as a scarf covering his face and beard
Bio: a stowaway on the shipwrecked pirate ship, he has been on this island with the "pirates" since he was 7, and the pirates didn't wish to see the kid die, so they raised them as their own
when he turned 18, he began training to fight alongside the "pirates", and after a while, he grew into a powerful warrior
now, he is 33, and he fights to protect the camp from angered beasts and helps with the food hunting

Guild:The Water Guild: The "Pirates" of Frostmourne Bay (As everyone calls them, although most of them aren't actual pirates anymore. Ugh, stereotypes... -_-)

Name: Sarc

Age: Likely between 20-25

Appearance: Navy blue sweats, a milky while lab coat with tie, and a trusty top hat

Bio: Though he seems like a simple man living in a world of glorified landscapes and wonders, Sarc was not originally meant to be in the world that was supposedly saved by the great gods of the elements. Having been made half out of a sturdy alloy and human flesh, Sarc seems to live a lot longer than he'd normally expect.

Through turmoil, Sarc had been sealed away in the great tree of the Earthen Guild's territories. Discovered by a simple mortal with intent of rebuilding what was once a beautiful empire, he began his new path with any memories of the past wiped out for the first time in however many years. Dark secrets could have been trapped in there, or possible secrets that could change the paths of the 4 makeshift tribes.

To-Do


  • Custom stronghold (moderate to hard difficulty)
  • Possible small Air feature (probably easy difficulty)
  • Possible Earth feature (giant tree- moderate difficulty)
  • Possible Water feature (giant ice spike- easy difficulty)
  • Populate villages (IN PROGRESS- unsure if this will need to be done last due to inadvertantly loading chunks)
  • Final check (this bit everyone could probably join for)

Another small update. As you can see, only three of these are for sure, and only one of those three things (the stronghold) will take a substantial amount of time. Things are looking really good for tomorrow afternoon, or evening. Everyone here deserves a medal. Several medals. I'm incredibly impressed.

VenEdit: I made a to-do list at spawn, look for the bedrock thing. It's pretty obvious. Also made a local backup of the world in case something goes screwy.

EDIT: Followed Ven's tutorial, and I now have 21 loaded mods, apparently. I assume that doesn't matter.
