Coterie AAAAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL the way. Sphax is also good; PhotoRealism looks even better but my computer can't handle it is too humble to hold the awesomeness.

If you're looking for a texture pack, you're probably either sick of default textures, or you just want to try something other than default. Saying default isn't going to help either of those cases.

Anyway, I personally like Coterie, but I've been trying out LB Photo Realism 128x.

Coterie is a pretty damn good one, but I'm giving SteelFeather's pack a try for a while. It's OK so far, but nothing I would want to use permanently.

Bump since there's a variety of new and awesome texturepacks since 2012.


My favourite texturepack aside from Default is ChromaHIlls. You've probably heard of it if you browse reddit.

It's really outdated and the grass blocks look terrible
