What do you think of the new Minecraft mob?

This is old news but it's still ♥♥♥♥ awesome. I'd wear my diamond armor, look straight at it, yell "CAN'T TOUCH THIS", turn around, and bury it in a lava filled hole. Or maybe just surround myself in a 5-block wide lava moat, and then spawn one on the other side and have it run at me and fall into the lava (because lava gives off light, and they don't spawn in lighted areas DERP). It's fun to do stuff like that. NO. The most fun thing ever you could possibly do with Endermen is make a big long high speed minecart track along a flat area, look at one straight behind you, turn around and turn on the minecart thing and have it chase you around, and when you get bored you take a diamond sword and stop the minecart thing and hold it out behind you and it runs into the sword and dies. Even though the last part isn't possible in MC, it would be awesome if it was.



If Notch decides he really wants something terrifying in MC, tell him to make something where in every map there are at least 3 giant caves, which when you first enter are fully lit with no monsters, and once you walk inside of it, the entrance suddenly collapses, all the torches go out, any light sources in your inventory are malfunctioning, and a scream/roar type sound (kind of like the Kretin boss from Mario & Luigi Bowser's Inside story, where it goes SKRAARHAWHFEIOWEIF!!!! for more info watch this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z3DKoC12000 (skip to about 1:05 for the screech)) and you battle some sort of giant monster in almost complete darkness at first, then lava starts pouring down from the ceiling and you can see it. It would probably be optional so that 8 year olds don't scream, run away from the computer, die in MC, respawn and lose everything, and have nightmares and cry to their mommies.

Yes, quite an interesting mob. The only thing I'm going to be worrying about is if they remove blocks that are vital to some structures/circuits.

Well.. more or less. They both have similar ideas - if you look at them, they freeze. If you look away, they move extremely fast towards you to attack you. (the difference being, the weeping angel will send you back in time/break your neck rather than just attack you)



It's definitely an interesting idea, and could be nearly as good as the creeper.

That is awesome. But the Giratina Cry is better. It just freaks most people out of their chairs. Ohwait, that would make a good PokeScreamer.

I think that the Enderman is a very good idea. So far, the only way to get scared in Minecraft is to go cave spelunking. The Enderman will bring some fear up to the Overworld and make MC more enjoyable. All I hope is that the Enderman doesn't spawn in caves. If I'm in a cave when I encounter the Enderman, I'm going to have trouble sleeping.

Another way to get scared in Minecraft is to be stupid and start building on sand and then get really focused on how far in and advanced your structure is and then step outside and then everything suddenly falls into a deep, dark cave and then get paranoid trying to get out and you think your footsteps are the sound of creepers stalking you, threatening to explode and have more sand fall and bury you in the hole it made. And then notice how stupid you were to not get the Fly Mod.

If I'm in a cave when I encounter the Enderman, I'm going to have trouble sleeping.

This would happen to me, too, and I'm sure plenty of other people. Like they say, Minecraft is a horror game.
Anyway, anyone who happens to have a way of contacting Notch and him definitely reading it without it being buried in forums or suggestions or anything, TELL HIM THAT.

Slender on the outside, weeping on the inside.
