You ever heard of the Painterly Pack? No? Shame on you. It is an EXCELLENT texture pack, and many choices are on offer, down to every single block having at least three choices of texture. The depth is just fantastic.
The only problem I find with it is customizing takes an awful lot of time, but I think it's worth it.

Used to like it a lot but now I think it looks really ugly.

I used it when I first got Minecraft, now I'm absolutely sick of it and I have a huge variety of texture packs now.

I wouldn't say it's "EXCELLENT," but I think it's good, though I don't like having it on for too long.
